Doing a guild raid at Icecrown Citadel, fighting the Lich King. It was the first time for a couple of us so we wiped a few times. While waiting for some members to get food/drink, and to ease the tension a little, we started messing around with the Lich King. Couple of us sitting on his lap, dancing on his head, taking guild photo's with him. It was hands down the best and funniest things I've ever done in WoW.
My Favourite WoW moment was seeing Ragnaros drop for the first time after working through Molten Core with those which I had levelled my old main in the preceeding months.
My favorite moment in wow was when my mom and I were leveling our first toons. Both of our toons were in Teldrassil, she a rogue and I a hunter. I was dying every 2 seconds because I didn't have a pet and she was just pure awesome. Then it turned around, as soon as I got a pet, she was the one needing the help. I watched her get pwned by the horde and found it hillarious. Of course, I was smart enough to rez at the spirit healer, but she kept running back to her body only to die. I think by the time she finally rezed at the spirit healer her respawn timer was maxed. The ironic thing was...she was being pwned by a belf rogue at level cap. The fan of knives got her every time. Then darkshore and all the while she QQed about how she never could kill anything above her level. She was also QQing because I leveled faster. We did what seemed to be the same quests, but I was always a level or two higher. Half the time she would die trying to pick herbs and going off the road. When i got volley, when hunters still had it, at level 30, she got mad because she had to wait until level 80. I got my deathknight before she did, but she beat me at leveling it to cap...twice. We still play together, and hopefully if i am asked this question again in the future, wil have more great stories to tell.
I always thought Ashes of Al'ar was a great mount, infact, I thought it was the best thing in this entire game, my account from vanilla got perm. banned (I didn't do it (no kidding)), so I had to watch this mount in the background of WoW. Either way, in WotLK I got RaF'd by a friend, and started playing again, I started doing TK with 10 people every week. And that day, the day that I rolled 91, I screamed. I don't always scream when I'm happy, but when I do, it's for a very good reason :)The day is my favorite memory of World of Warcraft.
I remember playing in the Beta stress test. My first character was an undead rogue. Back then, undead had unlimited underwater breathing. I remember a quest involving me killing an NPC on a little island. I staked that guy out underwater for several minutes, waiting for him to path away from some nearby mobs, before slowly coming out of the water and assassinating him.Other than that, there was also the huge sense of accomplishment that came from finally building my Mechano-hog.
My favorite thing in Wow so far has been while questing in stormpeaks at Frosthold and discovering that Mauradin lived! I was so happy when the cutscene started and showed him returning to consciousness. The reunion of the Bronzebeards brought a tear to my dwarven eye.
My favorite memory is the opening of the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj on my very first server, those were very exciting times for me, I was starting to play and everything was new.
I'd have to say the best memory was when I first got my epic flying training. 5,000g is a lot of money in anyone's language and after flying around on what was the 60% flying mount at the time, so much anticipation filled me as I traveled to Shadowmoon Valley to make the payment after 2 months of earning.once I summoned my mount and took flight, I could almost feel my back pressing against my chair in real life. 60% to 280% was a huge jump and it paved the way for my favourite flying mount.. Nether Drake.
First off, HAPPY B-DAY WOWHEAD! Don't stop being the best WoW site out there! Now, for my favorite memory, I'd have to say it was starting a character. I'm pretty new to WoW, so I made a guy right after Cata came out. It was Belf Mage named Belasko. I was so noob, I couldn't figure out where to go or how the talent trees worked. I almost went Frost spec just because it came with an elemental. I got him to level 56 before I trashed him for DK. Still regret doing it, too.
My Favorite memory had to have been back in the vanilla WoW when i was a lowly Dwarf Warrior running around questing, but not able to afford the 100% mount. I was so ashamed of myself because everywhere i looked i saw lvl 60's with their awesome mount. When Burning Crusade came out i was so proud to be able to get my 100% mount then proceed to get my Flying Mount. Made me so happy. then i had to try and get the 280% but that never did happen till Wotlk. :)
My favorite World of Warcraft memory was being a dwarf and my very first time adventuring into Ironforge. I didn't have any friends on the game, so I was just in awe about the size of the city. and the detail. It was also intimidating as I was unsure of what to do.
Not being a jerk darv, but I believe you meant He and lost control...
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd time I was killed Stitches in Duskwood, which all happened on the same day. Duskwood will always fill me the sense of imminent demise.
My favorite memory happened just a couple weeks ago, when one of my friends finally dragged me into a Battleground for the first time. Such fast paced fun and so satisfying being a battle-healer for the first time against other players!
My favorite memory would be when I went under the Scarlet Monastery instance, I was a Mage and I blinked through the instance portal from the inside, underneath was just a giant white square and a big blue ominous sky like outside in Tirisfal; was really shocked when I didn't just go out of the instance!
