My favorite moment in WoW would have to be when I got my first Yogg-Saron kill. Sadly, it was in Cataclysm, and I was in a raiding guild in which had many, many, MANY attempts on Yogg, but no kill. Once ToC came out, we stopped raiding Ulduar and focused on that. I just got my first Yogg-Saron kill not too long ago and I still love it, despite that fact it was basically easy mode.
My best memory is of a boss kill, Valiona and Tharalion in The Bastion of Twilight, they had around 10% health left and both tanks had died, so i picked the boss up, and managed to stay alive for over 45 secconds and killed him, that was my guild first kill, i felt so powerful, being a rogue i had evasion working for me and a bit of luck XD.

Wowzers, i had no idea wowhead already existed for 2 years before i joined! I know its unlikely that i'll win anything but i'll share my favorite moment. My favorite moment isn't that mount drop or that fancy shoulder item like most other's, i met a friend when i first started playing WoW! he has quit by now but we still talk everyday and play tons of other games with each others (league of legends has taken a ton of our time lately)I've met him a few times in real life, although he lives 5 hours away from me. The first time we met irl was pretty awkward, you don't usually meet another guy trough the Internet and end up driving to another country just to have some beers with him.Anyways, that was my favorite moment in WoW, Good luck everyone.
My best memory goes back quite some time.I was questing on my level 41 undead rogue at that time, somewhere near Booty Bay.I saw some Alliance guy, but when I went up to him his buddy, a level 65 dwarf paladin jumped on me and killed me :(So I went into guild chat and asked for some help so I could go and quest on.A minute later a level 85 orc warrior guildie comes flying on his dragon, heading straight for the dwarf. He then charged the poor pally. The only way to properly describe the pally's reaction is this way:First he was like: =?Then he was like: =O ! (I think he sh!t his pants at this part)And then he was dead: =''''(My guildie helped me questing, and guarded me the entire time.I was simply amased that a guildie came along so quickly, and he was so willingly to help.I kept thanking him the entire time, and he would always say: "No problem, guildies are there to help eachother."That day I swore to myself that I would grind to 85 and help out other noobs in the world like me.Today I am still grinding for 85, still chasing after that dream.
The day 3.0 was released, the day achievements became available, I became the very first person on Destromath with Leading the Cavalry. Logged in the second the servers came up, clicked as fast as the 3 second cooldown would allow, ran to the nearest mailbox, and hopped on my brand new Reins of the Albino Drake. Sitting afk in the Terrace of Light on that drake may have been the most fulfilling moment of my WoW career.
My epic moment, which is locked in my mind in sector ''Favourite Memories'' has to be the Pre-Wotlk World Events. It was amazing,i had so much fun with the event. You got yourself infected by a freaking plauge and got transformed into a freaking undead! The rampage, carnage and massacre me and my friends did in the Crossroads was incredible and unfrorgettable. There was this guy,i still remember his name. His character was a Blood Elf Lock named Waxzor.Waxzor was obsessed with the Lich King,a fan boy i guess. He tough every player infected with the plauge was his minnion and that Waxzor was the apprentice of Arthas (I do not play on a RP server btw :D).He literally gave us infected players orders on what to do and where to attack.I decided to play along and did what he said,it was to attack Bloodhoof Village. But unfortuneatly there was a stupid Priest in some cities which one shotted undead players :(.And also, this:
After a lot of solo grinding, I finally got my "Keymaster"....yeah, they then totally removed that Achivement.
I do believe my favorite WoW moment was when I was running my first raid as a tank in a new guild. We were in Ulduar and had gotten up to Kologarn when most of the group wiped, all but me died when the boss hit 7% hp. I spent the next 5 minutes doing my best to stay alive and got him down to 1% before he enraged and 1shot me. After that I was invited to every raid and never had a problem finding a group for dungeons.
My favorite memory of WoW was when i Faction Changed over to Alliance. I made many good friends than I did horde. Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY WOWHEAD!
All time favorite memory from the TBC days; The first time the bridge to Lady Vashj "opened".It was though to go that far, and my guild had a few bad experiences on the way there. The feeling you get when you see that gigantic construction deploy itself, with the water and stuff, it is a "We are awesome" feeling. All the months spent in raid, trying to keep the guild alive. All the wipes on stupid mistakes. When you finally get to this point, you don't care about killing Lady Vashj anymore, you're juste happy.Happy happy happy. There are still time like that, even in Cataclysm, but it was the first time I felt that way.
My favorite memory of playing WoW was when I hit level 70 on my first toon, my Night Elf Warrior. I had just completed the The Cipher of Damnation with my best friend. Just a wonderful memory for me; questing in Shadowmoon with friends, having a wonderful, amazamazing time. :)
Happy birthday wowhead! My favorite moment in wow is when my guild first killed cthun, after a few months in AQ40 seeing him die and hearing all 40 ppl in vent go crazyyyyyy! It is something that feels like yesterday to me. To me you never get that same feeling.. ill also never forget how I used wowhead to look up deaths sting dreaming about how I wanted that dagger :)
One of my favorite moments in WoW was when I got my first toon to max level (which was 80 and in wrath at the time). I was fighting a big frost wrym when I dinged, did many /cheer and /clap emotes, took some flexing pics, and went to do max-level stuff. Very happy that day!
killing illidan; the in-game music for the encounter was soooo awesome.
I actually have two favorite WoW moments because they both happened on the same day. The first would have to be when I got the mount Phosphorescent Stone Drake. Since it took at least 3 weeks of just flying around Deepholme to find him and get him. After I got him I went to try and get the Raven Lord mount, for the second week in a row, and i got to him and it dropped. I was so happy that i got the two most awesome mounts in the game and the achievement Reigns of the Raven Lord, I will never forget those moments ever. :)
