My favourite memory? ...well i have many lol ...but i think it was when my guild got Realm First Level 25 ...we worked day and night from the time the level 23 cap got removed 'til our "ding". Both raid teams (at the moment, we have a 3rd one now) cleared everything they could, many people was doing heroic after heroic and some others where questing. A huge and very good coordinated teamwork to get every bit of xp from wherever we could. We were inicially racing against another Alliance guild 'til our own Bothan Spy told us we were way ahead so we relaxed a bit. Then someone came online to tell in g-chat "Hey guys, there's this horde guild going for the realm first also, i have a friend on it, he just told me". We knew it was the time to push it harder. Everyone that could, called, texted or what not the few not-online guildies and we had more and more heroic teams going. The bar was filling, but we felt it was slow. It was a head-to-head Alliance vs Horde pride thing. We were ahead by a mere 2%, any lack off and we would have lost. At 1pm we were going for the last bit, like 90% of the guildies were online, many took "shifts" going to sleep 2 hours and then coming back, it was crazy. And suddenly ...bam ...achievement pops ...most of us where in vent and the screams of joy could be heard from many places. We cheered ourselves, all that could bought the lion mount and we got many "congrats" messages from other guildes (and obviously the jelousy of others). We were so happy we went into Nagrand to take a huge pic of us. Then we marched through Ogrimmar just to show our pride, no fighting. Once many of us were dead, someone used the new perk and mass rezed us only to find ppl from the guild we were racing who /spited on us ...we just /laughed back. Hilarious. Everyone took a rest the next day, guild chat was so lonely compared to last night. XDLoved it ...the social part is what makes this game so greater than others! ^_^

My favourite moment is from the days of old, more spesifically from The Burning Crusade. My guild had spent an awefully long time on Kael'thas in Tempest Keep, and å lot of blood, sweat and tears had been shed. Then suddenly, one evening, Kael'thas decides to finally throw in the towel, and we got our Mount Hyjal attunement. I've never been more satisfied downing a boss, and I probably never will be. It was awesome.
My absolute favourite memory of WoW is undoubtedly our guild's first kill of Instructor Razuvious in Naxx 40 man, Vanilla WoW. I was one of the two priests mind-control tanking him, and the attempt we actually managed to execute the fight properly (Without random disconnections, lag, accidental pulls, !@#$%y resists etc) is etched on my brain forever - a month of hard work, crystallised into a single moment, followed by a chorus of screaming, whooping and celebration on Ventrilo. It's what the game is all about for me, the pay-off at the end isn't the loot, just the fact that we managed to actually do something we were trying to do!
Shortly after starting the game as a troll shaman, I had to go up the hill to see an elemental for a quest in the starting area. From that hill, I saw this strange looking town off in the distance. So, being the beginner I was, having never played any MMO before, I jumped off the mountain side into the bay to figure out what the strange looking stuff was all about. It was definitely different looking than the desert of the starting area. Lobsters killed me. I'm thinking what kind of game is this that lobsters in the bay want you dead? Ratchet is still that cool place to see from a mountain after years of playing WoW.My friend at work who talked me into playing said I wasn't supposed to get there because it was a higher level area, which also needed explained. He also gave me 1 gold, which looked like waaaaay too much back then. Said it would last me for months (and did). The game has certainly changed.
So many memories to think back over.. boss kills, rare loots, many achievements... Pulling it all together, I think that my favorite, favorite, most favored day of WoW was the day I left my "hardcore raiding" guild, and joined my friends' guild, and built up a guild of RL friends (max 3 degrees of separation) that was capable of doing all the things the "hardcore" guilds did, minus the stress and drama, and plus the bonus of getting together for RL guild BBQs. Yeah, that day was the best turning point for me in WoW!
My favorite memory in WoW was when I took part in the server first kill of Malygos -- a close second was when I once engaged in a MASSIVE world PvP conflict right outside Shadowfang Keep at least 4 years ago. At least 80 people from each faction were there, fighting it out... I probably loved the memory so much because I was there from the moment it sparked off till the moment it simmered out.
My favourite member was when i first started to play WoW. I was quite young still, and i'd the week previously seen the "Make love not Warcraft" South Park episode. I was exciting for joining this brand new world, which one of my friend had also mentioned to be. My first look at the character selection screen drew me to the Night Elf, and so i picked a hunter.I logged into the game, and died quite a lot. The concept of killing these poor, defenceless boars like i'd seen Kenny do the week previously, seemed cruel to me. After dying many times, i lost the function of my bow. I didn't know why, but it was highlighted on the the right in red. Of course, now i know it needed repairing, but back then i didn't. So, i was left without a bow. I then logged out, and deleted the character, creating another. I thought this must be common, if you lose the function of your weapons...
I have several poignant memories that I've collected over the years..my first time on a level capped character (a 70 rogue back in BC a friend of mine lended me, with full Merciless PvP gear). Was interesting trying to learn all about a class right at cap instead of gradually, and at that time I was still very new to the game and all, but I managed (back in the golden days of PvP Sub didn't hurt either, lol).I also remember fondly when WoTLK first launched, on the first day I set out to try the new "hero class". Death Knights were a helluva a blast to level back then, back when there were tons of like-minded people doing the same, and when you'd see 5-mans of DKs clearing ramparts, hehe. Or while leveling in HFP, seeing bunches of Alliance and Horde DKs duking it out all over. Great times. And at times, I still look back on my earliest memories, back on my first trial account during the later half of BC...so much felt new then. Its always interesting to look back, and see just how much things have evolved over the last three years even that I have played.
My best memory probably is clearing Naxx25 at start of WotLK expansion, we were late from first kills however at time my computer could barely run the game in raids, I remember of having very low FPS, so low that I could just move and act as a tank and everything else was in hands of guildmates, they neeed me back then and I needed them to get my first real experience of raids. We steadily did proceed down to KT and downed him. I did not get too much of loots but getting that raid down something what felt real achievement back then.
I think my favourite memory of World of Warcraft was the day I first hit level 40 on my night elf hunter. Of course, I went and bought my mount immediately: a gorgeous spotted frostsaber. I ran around Darnassus, leaping and spinning and admiring it from all angles. I was in love.In celebration, my guild, all also around level 40, went on an epic adventure to Horde lands, to places I'd never seen before. We ran through Thousand Needles, where I saw my first wind serpent (exotic! beautiful! tameable!), and ended up in the Barrens where we decided - in all our powerful level 40 glory! - to lay siege to the Crossroads. It was an amazing battle with dozens of players that taught me the difference in power between level 40 and level 70, something I hadn't really grasped. There was one blood elf hunter's pet boar, lovingly named KILLFACE (yes, all caps), that gored me to death repeatedly. It was FANTASTIC! I was laughing so hard I was crying. (I will never forget you, KILLFACE.)And that night elf hunter? She's still my main all these years later, and still loves her mounts. You might see her flying in circles over Stormwind on her dragonhawk, climbing and diving, admiring it from all angles. I'm still in love. :D
My favorite memory of WoW is laughing on Vent with my guild back in the Vanilla and BC days. We'd go to the Ironforge Airfield before it was released, and we spent time looking for all the hidden areas we could find. Then pass the knowledge to others. That's my favorite memory, and we still do these activities to this day.
My favorite moment in wow was when i made a summing stone at the top of Dalaran with some friiends then summoned random people off the edge to fall to their death.. was soooo awesome!
My favorite memory of wow was grinding pvp for honor to get all the mounts on all the pvp mounts for all my toons and trying to get the wrecking ball achievement on all of them also, at max level, not in the early levels...after a month and a half I finally got it, I must've hard capped and spent millions of honor, lol, good times
Levelling my first character. Such a great world to explore, so many things to do - and such fail playstyle.
