waow thats a hard one... my best moment in wow was when i got my main character to lv 70. i was thrilled and decided to buy wotlk right away! The reason was because that i had a brake in like 3 years before i started playing again and my character was at lvl 45. i decided to take another shot at it and well yeah. so basicly it was when i got my character to lvl 70 thanks :)!

Reaching level 60 on my first char back in May 2005. Undead Priest. Then running all happy to buy the epic mount and riding skill, was so proud of my purple skeletal horsie that i ran around exploring a bunch of zones just cause the speed was so amazing, cant remember how many times i died due to riding through alliance settlements but i couldn't care less at the time :) .
First of all today is my birthday as well so happy bday wowhead. You have helped me look like I know what I'm doing over five years so thank you.My favorite moment was when I got my first 85. I have wow ADD so it was a big deal to me that I stuck with a toon for so long. I was up until 4am pushing to get to 85 and when I realized I was about to lvl I noticed I was the only one in my guild on. Not wanting to witness this moment alone, I logged off and went to bed. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't sleep because I was so excited. I ended up getting up at 6am and waiting until finally at 8am when my friends from my guild could share the sweet moment of victory with me.
My fav would be the first time my raid group killed lich king, as it was the first time I was able to raid and kill an end boss before they where nerfed.
I would have to say that my favorite moment in wow was on my lvl 65 shaman when a friend asked if I wanted to dps Utgard Keep. After I laughed he asked if I wanted to heal. I had only ever played a hunter, never healed anything besides my pet. I figured what the heck, re-specced and went for it. I just picked the talents that looked good, tossed on my caster mail heirloom gear and dove in. We wiped a lot. It was probably the most difficult thing I've ever done. We lost three dps and had to pug them from general so it took a long time too. and it was the single most fun thing I've ever done in this game. That moment changed everything about the game for me, opening up new challenges of healing and tanking that I had never even considered trying before. Now my hunter is retired to a life of fishing and I find dps boring, playing two tanks and two healers primarily.
Favorite thing would probably be hitting the level cap on my hunter. It was my first toon I created, and though I spent nearly twice as much time online as my guildmates, I was the next to last to reach it due to spending so much time doing older quests and guiding folks around because they were lost.
There have been many points in the game that stick out in my memory; dificult first time clears, rare drops, getting a legendary, completing hard achievements and so on. However in my opinion nothing can compare to the joy of PvPin and getting a truly awesome kill. My favorite happened very recently, only a week or two ago. I was doing my dailies on tol barad and a druid and priest kept following me around ganking me. After the fourth time i saw them waiting at the graveyard for me to rez. I asked for help in guild and got invited to a raid group. I waited and after a minute the druid and priest ran away because they thought i was stupid enough to would rez and they'd come back and gank me again. I DID rez, however and immediately cast Have Group, Will Travel. When they returned there was a raid group of about twenty waiting for them. The tried to turn around and run away but i caught one with a death coil, the other one tried to help him, and they both got obliterated. Then we went to the horde base and proceeded to farm them. Shortly after, the horde were defeated in the battle for Tol Barad, and showed up at their base camp to get slaughtered. This went on for about half an hour untill all of the horde left, so we took the party to orgrimmar, where we spent a few hours demolishing horde. Our guild got the city attacker achievement in one bloody sitting and i had a very good night. It may have been overkill but i believe that revenge is a dish best served painfully and repeatedly to the face.Edit: I just remembered a close second: on my 65 twink rogue in WSG we were at 2 flags apiece and the horde had captured the last flag. Each of us had the opposing team's flag and the horde were stacking defense because there were only 2 minutes left, ad a bear druid had the enemy flag. i went in on a suicide mission to get our flag back. I stealthed in, ambushed the druid, then used my high powered bolt gun which took the remaining 90% of his health. Then i popped cloak of shadows, vanished, and actually survived and won us the game.
Being quite the collector, it was an amazing feel for me the day that I finished my Thunderfury on a Wednesday, and then Sulfuras the very next day (Thursday) on my Paladin. I couldn't stop feeling like the luckiest guy in all of WoW at that time.
My favorite moment in WoW was probably back in WotLK (just because it was the first time i got serious about max level) when i finally realized, "hey, look at that, i'm well geared." I know it's kind of superficial, but i just loved that sense of accomplishment.
Way back in Vanilla, I was picking up some runecloth and questing in EPL with a couple friends - I was a Gnome Warlock, friend 1 was a Human Paladin, and friend 2 was a Human Mage. We had an enjoyable technique we dubbed the Gnomish hand grenade. The Paladin would run out in one of the fields around the plague cauldrons, grab as many undead as he could, consecrate to grab threat, and after using a couple more abilities switched to healing himself and me just as I jumped in and used Hellfire to burn down all the mobs. We had the system down very cleanly.A group of horde decided to crash the fun. This was when BGs were very new, and of course there was no resilience. I don't think any of us had a stitch of honor gear. We killed them 3 or 4 times in a row - they kept coming back and attacking again. Around the third time, I lit a campfire in the middle of their bodies and took a screenshot of 3 buddies sitting down around a fire in the middle of the 3 horde bodies. It was my desktop for about a year after. Unfortunately now I can't find it. Kinda makes me sad.
My favorite memory in WoW would have to be when I first starting playing. My neighbor got me hooked on WoW and she said it was cool to /dance on the fountain in SW and type /2 dancing on fountain for gold. I thought wow what a crazy game! I have a char that dances and gets drunk! OK little did I know that wasn't at all what WoW was about. I use to buy outfits in the AH that matched. My warrior was in all cloth lol... and i couldnt understand why I couldnt get a cool pet to follow me around (ie hunters). I must say she did a bad job showing me the ropes to WoW. Looking back now I slightly get embarrassed I was spamming trade ( at the time I didnt even know just know I was..she just told me to type /2 at all times ) I was dancing for gold o.O. Now that I get the game I still find ways to goof around on it like back in the days =)
