My favorite memory was back in vanilla. I had just dinged 60 on my first character ever and was pulled into an MC raid by my IRL friends. I had no idea what I was doing but chilling in vent, playing with other people and joking around about random stuff was really fun. It really felt "epic" to me. I MISS THAT GUILD. :(
My first level-cap character was in BC and to me, epics were, well, epic. A friend I was leveling with in Netherstorm told me he was doing battlegrounds to save up for PvP epics. I decided to do the same thing, making it take even longer to hit 70 because battlegrounds didn't give exp. Finally having enough marks to complete the set and seeing my first level 70 character all decked out in epics was amazing.

superb idea, I love rockets too ;)
Best wow memory is def getting the duelist title from arenas bc of competing 5v5 with my guildmates. no one expected to get a title and all 5 of us were just doing arenas for the sake of having more guild events apart from raids. who knew that after a lot of Qs and pew pews just for fun we could get a pretty cool title to show off =) not as cool as gladiator but still!
My favorite memory was when i was playing with some friends on my shaman, and we were in Skype, voice chatting as well. We were running Stratholme, at the time when we could queue for it with the dungeon finder, so it was actually a challenge. We had just wiped, and I was running back to ancestral spirit everyone back to life, when I ran through the gate where all the rats and vermin come out and mob you. I started screaming, and running around, trying to get out of the gates, yelling for my pally tank friend to drop consecration and burn them, even though he was already dead. We ended up being killed again by all the rats, as they ran back through the instance to kill the players just entering the dungeon again, as we're all laughing and crying about the fact that we wiped on a bunch of rats.
The moment me and 24 of my Gmates dropped Yogg Saron after a good 2 weeks of attempts, felt accomplished to have everyone pull off that coordination.
My favorite memory of WoW was when I got my undead warlock up to level 70 in BC. I had spent weeks, and week grinding and leveling in Outlands and I felt just so achieved when I hit level 70! Following, I entered my first BC raid, Karazhan. I was lucky to make it as far as I did with my failitude, but it was definitely the most fun I ever had, and it is a memory I will always cherish.
Having played a long time, I have a lot of memories playing wow. That moment in pvp defeating someone I shouldn't be able to, that warlock trying to train my priest by fear bombing my mobs (yay fade!), getting a boss down by impossible odds, but this one stands out the most:As a level 20 undead priest, on a new server I had avoided joining strange guilds. I had played since the start of wow. One day I joined a group and it broke up because we couldn't find a good tank. I got a whisper from one of the members asking me to come back. A guildie was coming to give them a run through. A level 60 troll warrior came. He also turned out to be the leader. The guild members liked me and asked me to join the guild and I did so.I eventually became an officer and in Burning Crusade a main tank. Now five years, and many adventures later, that troll warrior is my husband.I still teasing him about picking up women outside of Wailing Caverns. :)
My favorite memory would have to be when i first started playing the game. I had never played a game with such detailed graphics or such amazing music. I remember just standing around from time to time and just enjoying the scenery. I remember having this feeling of awe for just about every zone when i entered them for the first time.
Getting to 60 while leveling by explore XP in silithus, way back in 2005, when leveling was actually a somewhat hard task.
My favorite moment would have to be making my way up into Hyjal in vanilla. Got to explore one of the more difficult places to reach, see blizzards random road signs there, and jump off the epic cliff into Felwood.
I think one of my favorite WoW memories was the number of times I made lowbie toons on my friends accounts. The next time I came over and played a bit, the previous one had been deleted already, but it was fun.
