I would have to say that my most memorable time on WoW was on November 20th of last year. My boyfriend took me to Shalandis Isle (I think I spelt it right), saying we were "going on an epic journey we both won't soon forget". I was confused, unsure of what he meant, but I went along with it anyways..When we got to the location (Which was absolutely gorgeous! Even the music was amazing), he proceeded to tell me there was a specific reason he took me there. He got to talking about our relationship, and how he knew I was the one he wanted to spend forever with, and all sorts of other sweet things. Next thing I know, he asks me to marry him! It was such an emotional experience, I wasn't expecting it at all, and it is definitely a memorable (and happy!) experience for me. I still have screenshots from it and everything. That island now has special meaning to us, and we visit it from time to time while we're playing WoW together. And our wedding is going to be set for September 23rd of this year!I know most people would disapprove of proposing to someone over a game, but it was still very, very special, and later on he did propose to me in person~ With a ring and everything! :)

I've been playing since early 2005 and my best memory would have to be the first couple months of WotLK when the majority my guild's best players were still playing and the good times we had in Naxx and Wintergrasp.
My favorite WoW memory is when I joined my first raiding guild in The Burning Crusade. It was my first max level character, an Undead Rogue, and I was still so newbish. Didn't know where to read up on my class, I just had a general idea of what to do. These people brought me through Kara, taught me how to raid, and never once thought I was a noob. Although I've since switched to a Paladin, and to Alliance, we've all stayed friends through the years. RealID turned out to be a fabulous thing.
Way back in vanilla I guess, before the opening of AQ. My first MC Raid (Early Vanilla), New formed guild, knew no one, Raiding with 40 people at the age of 15. The feeling was tense, almost jumping up and down in my chair from joy. Now on the other hand, I just kill bosses, yawn and get loot for it. Although I can't help to look back and smile now and then.
My favorite memory was when I was trying to earn enough money for the winged steed of the ebon blade and then when I said "756g left to go guys!" my guild master lent me 1000g and then I realized, wait, i didn't get the training yet. So then I had 800g left after training and i just kept on doing dungeons to earn money. Then when I announced I had earned enough money, I whispered to my guild master "Thank you" then flew from Ebon Hold to Ironforge. Now when the other guild member I quested with said "How did you get the mount?". It was worth the look on his (Wow Character's) face to have the mount.
My favourite memory has to be the old Alliance Onyxia attunement chain, specifically the events in Stormwind. I remember being a very new lowbie visiting the AH, and seeing somebody shouting over General chat to come to Stormwind Keep to watch dragon fighting - I went along, the people doing the quest very wisely told us lowbies to stand well back, and just watched in awe as Lady Prestor was revealed as Onyxia, and then Bolvar killed all the dragon guards. Totally amazing to see as a very new player, and made me really look forward to levelling high enough to do that event myself.. Meeting Bolvar again on my old main in Northrend, 4 years later, and seeing he "remembered" me and those events was a very nice tie-in with that, too, fantastic little touch!
After almost two entire years of lost contact, I randomly bumped into a druid friend from TBC on a whole another realm, both of us playing different classes but we had similar names to the ones we used to have. Coincidentally propably my second best memory from in-game is starting off huge world pvp fights in Quel'Danas with the very same druid. :P
My favorite World of Warcraft memory was when my guild did an Ulduar achievement run. We had just gotten to General Vezax and the clock changed to midnight in my timezone. It was my sixteenth birthday the next day. The raid leader, who I met a year earlier and had grown close to, put the raid on a ten minute break and hopped to one of his other characters in Stormwind. He summoned me to Stormwind and brought me up above the Trade District where there was a display of fireworks. He told me he had ordered the fireworks for my birthday. Our raid was getting impatient, so we got summons back, earned Glory of the Ulduar Raider, earned Observed, and I got my 100th mount. At the end of the raid, the raid leader whispered me and said "Those fireworks were actually for Love Is In The Air, but to me, they were just for you." Even now, it was still the best birthday surprise and raid of my life. :)
My favourite memory of WoW is when they first patched in the weather effects. We had come from FFXI where it rained in the game often, and I thought it was strange that it didn't rain in WoW. When 1.10 went live, we were running around Elwynn Forest, and it started to rain. I just stopped, and sat down and enjoyed the rain. It was so neat to see. It had more immersion, and made the game that much more fun.
My favorite memory was finally plunging my Quel'Serrar into the smoldering heart of Onyxia. Not only had I found out about the Compendium itself and the chain from dear Wowhead, but it guided me along the path. My hands were shaking as we finally downed her and succeeded in finishing the quest. Nothing could be more intense than knowing that fight and sword would outfit me to tank the Molten Core. The first time we killed Ragnaros, I tanked him with that sword as well. Oh, how I miss my Quel'Serrar. My NEW favorite memory will be logging on today to see a 150 pet achievement, and some awesome new companions. I'll do all the killing little guy, you just hang out and be cute .
My favorite WOW moment happens everytime I tell a player I am 74 years old and play WOW daily. I find it keeps the mind & body sharp as well as enjoying the comradship among the many players around the world. After leveling a Hunter and a Warior to 85 I now am playing a Mage and concentrating on many professions of which 2 are maxed. I have 2 grown children playing, although they play at a much higher skill level than I We enjoy the laughter daily Thank you WOW for this exciting experience.
