My favorite memory in WoW was back in 2006. My guild had been working on Nefarian in Blackwing Lair for weeks and weeks. We had wiped so many times it was becoming disheartening to us all to continue. Then one night we managed to finally perfect the first few phases and we knew we finally had a shot at getting him. However Superbowl Sunday was coming up and we knew there wouldn't be many of us online at the time to down him so we just set up a practice night that night. We said as long as we got around 25 people online we would enter and get us as many good practice attempts in as we could. Well Superbowl Sunday night finally came. I logged on expecting to see about 15-25 people on max. To my surprise I saw we had over 45 people online! We got the raid together and we went in there and we downed Nefarian on our FIRST attempt. It was insane. I had never been so proud of my friends and guildies as I was that night. We were truly a team. It didn't even matter that we didn't get server first for him. All that mattered was we succeeded in defeating Nefarian, the dragon that taunted us for so long. And it was on Superbowl Sunday which is practically a holiday in the states. I still can't believe so many people postponed or cancelled their plans just to come online and give it their all. This was my happiest and most proud day in World of Warcraft. This is what World of Warcraft is all about to me. The bonds you make with people online. The feeling of joy and happiness everyone shared. Through good times and bad. The feeling of finally conquering something that had until that point, nearly conquered us. Good times indeed.
my best moment came with the release of cat. got me all wired up for lvl 85. loving the new faze in quest.
My favourite memory isn't one specific memory that happened instantly or even overnight. It happened over the course of of TBC. Regardless of if we needed the gear or the reputation, me and my guild would clear Karazhan every single week without fail - just because its Karazhan and for the opportunity of having -fun-, and why not: its what we paid for. Some weeks we would mix-it-up and play drinking games for each time you were hit by Aran's Flame Wreath, or even drinking a shot for each second you were blocking Nethersptie's portal. The heated (but not hostile) debates that would ensue that all stemmed from one... simple... question: who gets to control the king at the Chess Event tonight?
I've got to say my favourite memory was being dragged into Molten Core upon hitting 60 along side two friends. We were truly out of our element, but were told as long as we could keep our crowd control on certain marks we were fine to come.We spent the entire night whispering between one another, excited about having no idea what was happening. Was definitely a more innocent naive time when it came to raiding =).
My first lvl 70 was the biggest acomplishment for my time playing wow....i was so happy i could fly then i started to do heroic's with my friends .....Now i see how deication to playing wow can be fun and stressful at times...but in the most of it is have fun and like to collect mounts and pets...oh i still remember the old days when Wowhead help me get to 85 now....thanks Wowhead for helping me lvl and spending ur time to help others.
This one time, at band camp, I read the info for one raid on wowhead, and went to a different raid without noticing. Lulz followed.

Favorite memory ? hmm.. here's something i will always remember. about 2 month after wow release, i bought the game. I made a hunter, and leveled to 12. I was totaly broke, no gold, no bags, and a grey item on about every slot. While wandering in wastfall, i came across a lvl 60. level 60 ! and out of kindness, he gave me 10 gold. yep, 10 gold ! 10 gold for a noob was a real fortune in vanilla !
My favorite memory of Wow was back in Classic. Me and my guild were doing Molten Core all night, it took us alot of deaths to finnaly reach Ragnaros. We killed him on our third time which surprised us. Even though my repair bill was huge after that me and my guildies had a very fun time yelling at each other to do more damage. xD
My most favourite moment in wow was when I dinged max level for the first time in TBC. It felt like I was finally able to commit to something and stuck it through to the end.
Without a doubt my favorite WoW memory takes place in Vanilla. During my 50s-60s I spent the entirety of my time solo farming Felcloth in Azshara. Back in those days, it was a great spot to make copious amounts of gold, and also experience. The problem was that, much like Tyr's Hand, the entire area was riddled with Chinese gold farmers. After a few weeks of grinding (and I mean grinding) I finally hit 60. When I did, I had probably 1.5k or so (quite a bit in those days, especially if you weren't 60), and immediately went and bought my epic mount.Good times.
Hi I am Liderion from the Scarlet Crusade server. I am a 12 year old boy who plays World of Warcraft. I was 7 when I first started playing and I didn't like WoW at first. Then on my 11th birthday I had been thinking about it and decided to play it, I loved it. Now I play my 85 Death Knight not being the same player that I was when I first started, not knowing where to go. I started with a druid then worked my way up to a death knight then My favorite moment in WoW was when I made my Death Knight. I had looked up to Death Knights. I thought they were awsome and I was right. Now I have a 85 death knight and I am part of the players who own Death Knights. I love WoW and it is my favorite game ever. I remember all the good and bad times. It was all worth it to be where I am in WoW right now. A close second is when I saw Arthas today at the Frozen Throne. I was so exicted and I took a bunch of screenshots. My first time attempting to kill Arthas. I didn't care if my raid wiped or if it succeeded . I just was happy to see my favorite character from World of Warcraft Lore. Thank you for reading my post. - Brewmaster Liderion
