My favourite memory of Wow has to be the day I finally cleared my first current end game Raid, At the time this was ICC and the amount of times we spent going into that place, Clearing all the way up to LK each week but then getting stuck on him, Resulting in a good few wipes on most evenings. The attempt that proved to be successful in the end was so tense and it felt like it lasted an hour or so, The amount of communication on Vent was almost at a minimum, In fact the only Comms we had was DBM yelling out "Defile on me!" And so on, But we got to a stage on the Valkyr's where we couldnt slow them any longer, But as a warlock i managed to Port back up after it dropped me due to the Portal placement, And on the second one, Our hunter was picked up. But instead of us nuking down the Val'kyr he just said, "Stay on Boss, i got this" And sure enough, he disengaged back onto the platform as soon as the Val'kyr dropped him, It was due to this we had enough dps to finally get LK Down to his Ragemode phase where he just kills everyone, and Tirion does his whole He-man sketch.. But even though in another person's eyes it may of been just another guild Downing LK, To me, it felt like the greatest thing ever purely because We tried and tried, And eventually we got it. (Even though the loot we had was only useful to people's off specs xD) And that has, And will continually be, My favourite wow memory.Cheers,Mike <3

My fav memory in WoW was getting jumped by level 68 druid and rogue when my friends and I were level 50 and 51. They died. It was hard-fought, but they died. The most exhilarating part was going to see them on the Armory (since they were ? to us in-game), and seeing their levels. <3
Jumping off the floating islands in Nagrand with a friend! I was using slow fall and he had the engineering parachute. We did it multiple times, and once he tried jumping without the parachute into the water... but missed. Ouch. xD Anyway, there's no doubt that downing raid bosses is awesome, but I remember this in particular because it was just so random and pointless, yet strangely fun. :D
What is your favorite memory from World of Warcraft and why?My favorite memory? It must've been seeing a friend of mine go away and PvP happy. In short, I, a level 85, twinked him completely. I spent a fortune (over 250k) twinking him. He's a level 60 paladin, and the look on his face was priceless. I skyped him later on and he said he couldn't stop smiling. Despite 250k being a major hole in my wallet, I didn't feel a single thing of it. His happiness made it all worth it. Every instance I had to boost him through for gear, every socket, every enchant, every friend I had to ask to for old world mats, everything was 100% worth it. Friendship is so much more than gold. And I hope others can learn from this.
I have been playing WoW for 6 years now so I have many good memories but this one is indeed my favorite:It was around my 6th month of playing WoW when I met this guy that was very friendly and coincidence made he was from the same country with me so we started questing together and speaking on skype all the time. Back in Vanilla it was hard to have loads of money expecialy for beginers like us but this guy after a 3-4 months of playing together he went to Booty Bay and he spent all he`s gold at a very special trader. When I came online he told me he has a presant for me and told me to meet him in Stormwind. And of all the crazy things he did this one was the craziest. He / kneel in front of me and traded me a Miniscule Diamond Ring! I just couldn't belive it ! After a few laughters about the Minuscule diamond ( I told him he better give me a bigger one in real life or else! ) I said " I do " /giggle.I even made some screen shots but they are on the hard disk in my closet that I dont use anymore. The best part came after a few days when my friend traded me a White Wedding Dress and he was in a tuxedo and all and our guild master that was a lvl 60 Priest actualy came with us in the Stormwind Chatedral and married us :D That was very sweet of him. After we played for another year, in the summer of 2007 he finished highscool and came to me in Spain for vacation. He had to leave in september but came back on 14th of december and we are together ever since. We talk about getting married next year maybe but we`re still too young so no point to hurry :)/cheers from Isil and Dezire Aerie Peak EU
My favorite memory in wow would have to be on my Restoration shaman at level 70 where in a battle-ground 6-8 enemies came at me. That very fight lasted 3 minutes till till my team came in and rescued me from the devilish Alliance. This inspired me to stick to my shaman and not let anyone kill me. When WOTLK went live I dedicated myself to getting at least one of the the titles "the undying" or "the immortal", and very well i achieved one of them titles I could not get "the immortal" for it was extremely hard and extremely complicated, but I did happen to get "The Undying" in a PUG group!. "Stompies the Undying" has a nice ring to it :)
My favorite memory is when I soloed Molten Core on my Lv80 warlock.I had never been there before, so I hooked up a raid group with a Lv1 alt and went to work learning fights and tweeking specs and gear. One month and several hours of wiping and respecing later I had it just right combination of experience, stats and talents to get all the way to Ragnaros. The whole fight was just a blast, from his epic entrance to running around the chamber, kiting the sons of Ragnaros during the submerge phase to yelling bad MC puns over guild chat when I downed him.
My favorite memory comes from raiding Kara with my guild in BC. We have always been a laid back, casual guild so we were still in Kara while others were doing TK and Black Temple, so this isn't a world first story by any means. I remember spending, I kid you not, weeks and WEEKS trying to down Shade. We just couldn't do it, be it that people were being dumb or didn't show up for raids or whatever. But after wiping like 10+ times one night, our GM and his wife went off to bed and left me to lead the charge in one last attempt on Shade and we nailed him. There were a few moments where we didn't know what to do with ourselves, but it was glorious. Haters can hate all they want, but it was a big deal for us at the time.
My favorite memory about WoW is my roommate - he played an mmo for the first time and was shouting and complaining about everything. How much he has to run through all of Teldrassil to complete his quests, about not finding in and later not finding out of a cavern, about mobs hitting him and about dieing and finally about not having rage for his abilities or about having rage and not having a mob to slay.So i decided to start playing WoW with a Priest to heal him and help him a bit. Now, more than 80 leves later, we both laugh about that time - and sometimes, if we are on twinks, we still complain about the long ways, while having much fun to do exaktly what we are doing.Greetings from Germany and Happy Birthday WowheadDearna
Killing Al'ar for the very first time after countless hours of wiping. Using every little trick we could think up to down that boss, was a truly epic struggle that finally gave so great satisfaction to be able progress forward in the instance.
My favorite moment in wow was having friends on chat while playing, My daughter brings me a nice cold glass of soda and promptly dumps it all over me and my keyboard with an open mic every one listening got to hear me screech! (no the keyboard didnt live)
So many memories over the past 6 years of game play. Gosh how do I answer that. From the first time I logged to my first raid in vanilla all the way to Cata there are so many wonderful memories, filled with many wonderful people. I would have to say one of my favorite moments was actually during a lull in Wrath when one of our raid leaders in my old guild decided to have a costume contest / storm the Under City while your toon is drunk night. (Did I mention we were in costumes, not actual tier gear) Whoever made it the farthest before dieing won. It was a totally silly and wonderful moment of which there have been many, many more. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kS8lEL3o5Xk
Hard to tell, there's not only one memory, let's say to sum up the first year of playng, meeting old friends from various mmos, making new ones, playn various class to find the good one, these where the most happy moments.
My favorite moment in WoW was when I after 39 days of camping, finally got my hands on Aeonaxx! I've also got the camel and TLPD, as well as all the rare hunter pets. When I found any of those mobs I got nearly as excited, but Aeonaxx tops it :)
I know that many people see wow as a game but to me it's much more. As my guild mates know I deal with very bad health issues and my life expediency was suppose to be done years ago, so truly I am living on borrowed time. The greatest memory I have of this game that even to this day continues to live on, is every day the interaction with my guild family, that of those on my server and even others within the pug have given my mind something to think about other then pain. With the help of this game adn the family there have been times that my pain has been lowered that for once in over ten years I knew what relaxation was.Thank you Both to Blizzard for creating this game, Aclon for being a fantastic Guild Leader, the family of our guild and finally everyone that makes this game worth exploring on and on and on. Thank you........and of course this is my fondest memory....Zar
Back in TCB, the night we killed Kael'Thas in Tempest Keep and I got my Hand of A'dal title, priceless!
