My favorite memory was happened years ago. My guild were trying to get Majordomo Executus down that time, but they were short in raid members, so they decided to bring me in. I was a Hunter, but just hit lv60 for a few days. When I step into MC, those HUGE Molten Giant shock me. A hour later, we stood in front of Majordomo Executus and its minions. It's my first time, I could feel my hands are trembling, my heart were pulsating - I'm really excited! We spent hours and hours to practice how to pull every mobs to the right position, assist attack, decided the order to kill mobs, and let the dder know they should stop dps when the reflect shield is up (it seem there are amount of dder still don't know how to stop there dps today). Finally, we won. It's not only we won of that encounter, but also the time we played together. Even though we are spread at different realms now, those memory are still in my mind, and I'll keep it, forever.
My best memory would have to be when I entered my first raid in proper gear. ICC. I came to WoW late in vanilla, right before BC came out, and never got a chance to raid. When BC had started, I was still learning the game and had no idea what a raid even was! When Wrath hit, I was on hiatus, and came back around the time on Ulduar, and was busy leveling up.When ICC came out, I was excited to finally get in a guild that did casual raiding. We raided all the way up to Blood Queen, and though we never made it to Arthas, i'm happy I got to experience it as far as I did.
My favourite moment in WoW is rather boring to most, but exciting to me.I was on a lvl 40 nelf drood, my first toon on my own account. I was trying to find someone to help me kill Omen for the Lunar Festival quest (I didn't know not to try it alone). No one would help me, so I just stood there watching a group of Horde try it. I watched a lvl 80 gnome mage come running up while they are on their last stretch to kill him, and the mage just starts attacking the Horde. All of the Horde die along with Omen. So just for kicks, I ran forward into the light that spawned over Omen's corpse and found I could complete the quest anyways.
M<y favorite moment whas when i first logged on. Right when BC came out my friend got me an account and i made a dwarf named nicyarbro.I had no clue AT ALL what to do. i killed the trolls of the coldridge valley and though a 5 was a REALLY high hit, i saw a 70 with all this cool gear which compared to now is well :P kinda sucks. That is my favorite (and first) WoW memory.
Of course my favorite memory is when i got the Mimiron's Head! best moment ever that something you want and dream about is finally in your hands, besides i had to wait 2 months to get it (we had some kind of wait list for it in my guild) yes i was happy for months i am still happy by it!
My favorite moment was my first encounter with Thassarian.By the time I had finished with the Last Rites quest I have to admit to falling a bit in love with this poor soul
Getting Thunderfury, after seeing it on the dock at Menethil Harbor in March of 2005 on my level 20 Rogue I decided to get that cool orange sword and it took me over 5 years to get it!
Mine was when i was around lvl 30 running around in Stranglethorn Vale doing quests, and suddenly i see the arena master yell that a price will be given to the person who opened that chest in the midle.I ran there thinking "i could easily do this". (It was in vanilla when there were nearly no lvl 60's yet and blue's was the best you could get) :) But no, a guild had grouped up to get the chest, and yeah they killed me, ALOT. =)After all the slaughtering was over, i came into talk with one of them and thoght, hey! i want to join a guild like this, that stands together! After a long talk, and reading thair rules, i joined them, and im still in that guild all thies years later. =)We still do the arena massacre now and then to the new commers. ^_^-Gantoo, Wolfpack EU-Argent Dawn.
My favorite memory comes from the Pre-BC days. I was in low-mid 50's (say 54ish.) I had just landed the gryphon in Burning Steppes for a little mining (thorium) I grabbed my Warhorse rode around till i found a node. But this node had a Tauren attached to it. So i proceeded to teach that Tauren (Warrior I think) that, that was my node. and dispatched him accordingly. then proceeded to mine the node, only to find the horde graveyard was a little to close to the node. He then taught me that he was there first and as such had rights to the node. So I return to my body, rez,and once again informed him (politely, but firmly) that, that was MY node. Subsequently we each only got 2 pieces of thorium ore for our troubles. It is my favorite memory because it was completely random pvp over an Enriched Thorium Vein, and that it was a seesaw battle between us to mine the ore and then fight. Oh that and it lasted about 10 minutes of us, back and forth over 1 mining node.
The first time downing Moroes. I was in a casual guild then and we didn't care much for class composition or any of that stuff, but despite weeks of almost no CC, underperformances, and mid-fight disconnects, we finally got him down to those last few percentages of health, but by then everyone was out of mana or dead. I was the last person left alive and in a panic, but by some stroke of luck Moroes and I double killed one another, everyone in vent was screaming, cursing and cheering. It felt awsome to die.
