My favorite memory was the first time I played through Darkshire. It was late in the evening, and my husband thought we'd heighten the experience by turning off the lights and TV in the room where we were playing. I never jumped in my chair as often as I did that night... but I sure had a blast. That was also the night I realized that my Warrior had a defensive stance, too (duh). I died a lot less often going forward, which also made me a happy gamer!
My favorite WoW memory is when I was on my DK and I defeated an Ally Pally in World PvP. He popped his bubble and I got distance and healed up then pulled out Army of Dead and killed him. He was so angry that he switched onto his Horde alt to whisper me and cry that I was a punk for using AoD. Funny how he didn't think he was a punk for using a bubble. lol.
My favorite memory of world of Warcraft was when I finally killed illidan. The thought oh me killing illidan was preposterous. All ,y friend told me he was zoo hard to beat that I would never do it. But when I hit level 70 I rushed to the instance with my raid group and we stormed his temple rushing through the bosses... Until we got to him. The battle was epic, fierce, and very long. But in the end we killed him. I was so exited to see if he droped his wargalives I didn't even relies the parasites killing me and I died right before his mighty horns.I never did figure out if he drop them.
I,ve been playing since Dec 10 and have had a blast! My brother got me started and so often being my older brother talk of being kids always comes up... like me being afraid of spiders!.. We were questing in Twilight Highlands. Each of taking down some bad guys when my brother asked me to come down these stairs... did I mention I hate spiders... I went down the stairs and there was thousands (ok maybe not that many) of black widows. I just stood there, my brother got behind me and shot one of them then ran up stairs leaving me there multi-shotting as fast as I could!... think I had nightmares for a week... LOL! Its so hard to get me to go to Twilight Highlands now...
My favorite WOW moment was when I achieved Loremaster.
Downing Vazruden in Hellfire Ramparts. We had been running toons from 1 up with my wife, daughter, and son-in-law. Lots of questing and dungeon runs got us to Outland, but the dragon riding boss in Ramps stymied us.....so my son made a DK on the server, and we ran it in a full, 5 man, all-family group. Good times, and the guild went on to Northrend together ! Oh, and WHY it's my favorite- it represents the first time the whole family played together, even though those times are behinds us now...
My greatest moment in WoW? Well it was when i finally got to the Lich King in Ice Crown Citadel and defeating him. after hours of ICC and try and try again we had FINALLY gotten to the lich king and killed him! The Elation i felt tha t i got that title and achivement is unspeakable
I love to think back to moments in tbc, 1. my first 20 levels - a guy named 'headshot' helped my to get in the game - he was really kind but unfortunaly we dont have any contact left.2. getting my tier 5 head.3. of course the wotlk pre event and with that my tabard. in cata: getting rank 5 - in english it may not be as nice as in german, in german it is the best title for forsaken ingame imo ;-)
As a late-coming player in WoW, I still got to complete the Dreadsteed of Xoroth quest chain for my Warlock epic mount.I had to coax 2 friend to help me do it, in fact lagging behind on my +60% speed mount until they agreed to help me...A great quest chain, taking you to several dungeons (Scholo and Dire Maul being the most emblematic).
My favorite memory from WOW was when I logging in on my first character, and watching the intro to starting my character. It`s was Dwarf hunter.
After discovering that my life would be dedicated to healing my poor dwarven tank fell by the wayside. My favorite memory is the day I realized I had a level 80 bank alt with the Superior achievement. And that is the story of why dwarves drink... their jobs were outsourced to Night Elves.
