We both want it bad, but only one of us can have. When the new vanity pets from the Argent Tournament came out everyone knew that people on the opposite faction would pay good money through the neutral ah. As a player who like to buy and sell things I frequently visited Booty Bay to check for things to re-sell on the ordinary AH. One day one of the alliance pet was out there for BID ONLY, around 1500g. This was around the time people only have had time to get one pet, so insanely cheap.I was talking to my friend on skype and said: "lets buy it and split the profit" and he agreed. We were both at Booty Bay with low level chars. The auction showed "Medium" time left (between two hours and 30 min). We laid our bid and waited by the autioneer. Not long after the the timer went down to "Short" (less than 30 min left). Since we were camping by the autcioneer we knew pretty much exactly when the auction were going to finish.Along comes a female Draenei shaman, max level and pretty good gear. She stops in front of the acutioneer and "You have been outbid"-message comes up on my screen. Its now about 25 min left on the auction. We outbid her and she outbid us again. I don't know why I didn't think about it myself but a few seconds later both me and my friend are dead, she obviously didn't want any competition. We corpse run (I'm not sure if she had to do it too, or if she swam out far enough for the gaurds to reset, not sure how that works in Booty Bay) and res right beside the ah guy and bid as fast as we can (little more than 20 min left now). Pretty soon we are two corpses again, and we run, again. But when we arrive this time, she has killed all the auctioneers. After an inital moment of dread I pretty much instantly comes up with a master plan.I tell my friend to log onto his main and go to Booty Bay and stay there to make our bitter enemy think we are going to try and win the item by brute force, but we all know it's better to use your brain, so meanwhile I log onto my main and start towards Gadgetzan. We arrive with about 15-10 min left on the auction and our pulse high. Now I make a bid in Gadgetzan, with my friend ready with a "/laugh" and right after that a "/smile" for our lovely friend. I don't remember if my friend had to kill any of the autioneers before the shaman does her Astral Recall. I assume she has it somewhere in the middle of Kalimdor because she arrives with about 7 min left on the action, at which time I greet her with a "hearty hello". Of course all the autioneers in Gadgetzan have been slain by me and my trusty pet. For the next 7 minutes or I camp the auctioneers and I also have my friend as back-up in Booty Bay. We got the Teldrassil Sproutling for about 2300g.This is by far my favorite moment in wow. The excitement was incredible and the way I came up with our master plan in an instant, good old wow knowledge.Cheers
My favorite moment in wow was our first time downing Princess Huhuran in AQ40. It was such a close kill, that the only person left standing when the boss finally died... was a holy paladin. Vent chatter at that moment was epic.Unforgettable.
My best moment was when I finally got my Reins of the Dark War Talbuk. It was some month after wrath released. It took me month of farming the 200 Oshu'gun Crystal Powder for the Halaa Research Token and it took me almost forever to get the Battle Token because there was rarely a ally there! And when there was a ally most of the time he was to low to get a token from :( But when I got my talbuk it was great, it really was. Month of farming ogre and waiting for high level allys were over. And it's really one of the greates mounts and it is still one of my favorite.

fav moment was leveling during wotlk and taking part in the launch weeks eventsil never forget that time :D
My favorite moment is the time when we first killed Ragnaros at level 60 after months of wiping.
I have to say, my favorite moment was the first time I played with my fiance and realized we'd always have a hobby in common. =)
The best moment I've ever had in World of Warcraft was from when the game was still young, and me as a first time adventurer into the MMO-Jungle, I was at a lanparty with a few of my friends and we had all purchased the game not quite knowing what to expect, or how the game worked for that matter, we set of creating our characters all horde (well, we had one guy who wanted to be human but we persuadaded him to create a horde character after realising that we couldn't speak to one another). We reached Razor Hill (All of us rolled orc or troll) and we were amazed, a large city with inhabitants, it felt epic. We then met a level 60, which ofcourse none of us realised at the time was maxlevel, he gave us each a gold and we were in heaven, a entire gold! We wouldn't have dreamt of having a entire gold at this point, he informed us (sorry, I've forgotten his name, but this was truley a kind soul, lightnings blade EU troll shaman) of the even larger settlement Orgrimmar, we thought he was kidding but as he had been kind before, we decided to venture there and sure enough we reached Orgrimmar, I'm not joking when I say I acctually cried cus it felt so Epic, this might seem like a very silly thing to do, but that's the fact of the matter. We then spent well over 12 hours just exploring and trying to learn this new amazing city, and that is the essence of my favorite memory of WoW, the happy days as a newbie, the sense of wonder was present in everything you did and I even remember the first time I did a crit of 100 for the very first time.Even though this is a competition, I don't really care if I win, this reminded me in great detail of a lost time when everything I did or everywhere I went I was happy, now I play the game and I do enjoy it, but not as much as I once did, now I grind dailys etc because I know in the end it'll be worth it, but back in the day I did it because it was so damn exciting.I also remember my firstever addon, which also was a pretty cool thing, anybody remember TitanBar? Maybe it's still around, I'm not even sure, however thank you Wowhead for forcing me to refresh my memory!
I remember debating with people on WoW that wowhead.com was better than thottbot.com.i always ended up winning :Di dont even think that thotbot exists anymore either...clearly wowhead is better :P
i have many memories like the first time i finaly got to play night elf exept for a strategy game i was so happy because i have always loved night elf's but my favorite must be when i was playing with a night elf druid at level 16 and had a friend with a 18 druid and we played together then there came a gnome mage at level 3 that dueled us and my friend won quickly and when it was my turn i didnt only do it quickly i managed to kill the gnome even thought it should not be possible i miss vanilla wow so much
My favourite wow memory is from when I was a complete noob. It was my first char and I barely knew anything about the game, I begged for gold and managed to collect around 10 gold. Back then, I thought that enemies could loot my gold if they killed me so I decided to put all my savings in the guild bank(thinking that it was safer). Well, I never got the money back, yet I sill laugh when I remember how silly I was. :)
My favorite memory is when I got my Well Read achieve! I stopped leveling my very first toon and went to work right away, I was pretty sure next to no one ever went after it! I got almost every book before I realized I'd have to continue to level just to get the last 3 (located only in Scholomance), but as soon as I could get through the instance door I tore through the dungeon -healing the whole way- just to get to those books! I got the last book just as I died! XD It's still my favorite achieve and it's satisfying checking out other people's achieves and not seeing anyone else with it! <3
My favourite moment looking back were 2 things. Definitely getting my Benny! Or Benediction/Anathema as others may know it on my 60 Holy Priest. Although I hated the bug where you changed to Anathema and you lost your 55 healing enchant on Benediction. And the second was a 10man guild run of ToGC. We were running with two healers, myself as a Holy Priest and a Holy Pally. We were on Twin Valks and the Pally was trying to get our Mage killed for fun but he ended up dying himself leaving only me to heal with the Valks on between 20-25% hp. Somehow I managed to keep enough people alive but by the end only a couple of DPS survived - with people cracking up in vent the whole time. Ahhh good times!Happy Bday Wowhead! xoxo
My favorite memory of wow is when i joined a stealthrun in LBRS and completed it, as a NE huntard! :pBack in the good ol' days ;)
