My Favorite moment in World of Warcraft is whenever i finally turned level 85 on my mage Fauztinn, i got my gear and went right into a raid my guild was doing that night, i was the only mage. We're at the 3rd boss and its a close fight. My GM Mike yells for me to use time warp. I'm like "what the hell is time warp?" he says, "You are the biggest baddie ever! did you seriously not train for your level 85 skills going into a level 85 raid?". hahah, i didnt. i turned 85 and didnt train for the skills. we all died btw. that was the funniest moment ive ever had in WoW.
my favourite moment was when i got promoted in the guild to a higher rank. had been boosting mates all day litterly.
I cherish this memory as one of the funniest moments I had ever witnessed in WoW. Back in vanilla, in the Burning Steppes there was a rare elite that could be seen wandering around from time to time. His name was Volchan. He was soloable to an extent. So myself and a guildmate were wandering the Steppes and we noticed the elite, upon further investigation we noticed he was being followed by roughly 25 players of the same faction. I asked their intent and they said they were forming a raidgroup to take him down and the other 15 members from the guild were along the way. My friend having fraps he recorded this event over much laughter in vent. So him and I proceeded to kill Volchan in front of their eyes (easily). He goes down and they don't even say anything, we link loot and give it to their raid leader. Since neither of us needed the green or his pattern he has as a guaranteed drop. After that the saying 'Beware of Volchan!' became a saying in our guild.

I joined Wow when it was only a few days old and I've been playing ever since, My favorite moment was leaving Anvilmar as a fledgling Dwarf, trotting through the country side and coming across Kharanos and thinking wow, this place is pretty big, after leaving the Inn and venturing further on up the road, out of the haze appeared Ironforge and I knew this game was going to be good.... still playing Tinderbox today, and yes, he has the explorer title.
My favorite memory is actually from the very first day I played wow. I never played any 'real' game before, and had no interest in them either. But I had bought wow for my (then) BF as a gift. He started playing (and complaining that it wasn't warcraft as he thought it would be), and I just hovered over his shoulder, totally mesmerized by this totally intriguing game. He let me start a char later, and I remember being in Elwynn and grouping up with this warlock, killing murlocs.Halfway the quest his imp pet said something like: "I don't like being here", or "let me go". It took me a while before I learned that this warlock hadn't taken another player against his will, but that it was a pet. Until that moment though, I steered clear of warlocks. =P
My favourite moment in WoW was my first raid of Karazhan.I got the wrong rep-reward ring (Violet Signet) because I thought I could get all 4 of the quests. (I'm not the only one who has done that, right?:P) A GM got back to my ticket before the end of the raid, appearing in the form of some kind of beastie (it took the tank about 30 seconds to even notice a big monster sneaking up behind us!). He turned me into a chicken, then turned the rest of the raid into goblins or pirates before leaving us (though we lost the costumes as soon as we wiped on curator). We didn't kill many bosses, and I didn't get any drops, but it was my most memorable moment in WoW just because of the fun time we had. It's not about loot or progress, but having a laugh with your friends <3
My first Black Rock Mountain run on my Rogue, Zilas back in classic. I thought I was so cool running what I thought was awesome end game content. After many wipes, and multiple hours we finally got to the Emperor. I got The Emperor's New Cape and Ghostshroud from that run. I thought I was the coolest rogue ever. To this day BRD is still my favorite dungeon in the game.
My favorite time spent in WoW would have to be my first guild (Elders of Brood - Bladefist then Outland) where i started out as a priest and got to go in to Molten Core at lvl 58 due to lack of healers. The entire experience of WoW wouldn't have been the same without that guild that lasted until late Burning Crusade when the guild leader just didn't have the time anymore. My favorite all time moment of WoW would have to be the first time we downed Nefarian it was such an epic fight and we had 4 people left standing at the end. That last 1% seemed to last an eternity. (Also i was the one to kill the tank with my corrupted healing). All and all i haven't and probably won't ever find another guild like that. But it was the best time i ever spend in this game.
My favorite memory would be hitting lvl 25 with my guild and going to orgrimmar for some naked dancing. The horde was even clapping :P
I was healing Scarlet Monastery's graveyard in the Warth of the Lich King as a priest. When entering the catacomb I lost tank because he took the "wrong way" and turned left as everyone else was going to right. Well what happened? Almost dead tank got his heals and managed to seduce me to be his girlfriend :O
My favourite moment in WoW was when I got flight form on my Druid. It was so much fun flying around as a bird instead of riding a mount. It also allowed me to herb better :)
Greatest momentMy favorite World of Warcraft moment was back in Classic. My guild just reached 100 members and we decided to try raid Molten Core. We did quite fantastic compared to our bad gear and no experience. On the very first run, on the very first kills. Both bindings dropped! Only two from our 40-man raid knew what these really were for. Not many had seen the color of a legendary item. My friend explained the raid that the bindings was for the legendary sword Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker. My guild mates was amazed by the lightning from the sword, and started to beg for the bindings for this holy weapon. My guild leader made a decision and gave the bindings to me! Everyone gazed, nobody was saying anything! After 5-10 minutes, people started to talk again. Though evnying me, we continued the raid and even killed Ragnaros. And after that day, my guild spent 2 months gathering the materials for crafting Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker . I remember the day i got my Thunderfury. I invited all players on my server to come see Thunderaan and help killing him. I spammed trade chat for a whole week to gather players. 20th June 2006, the day 250+ players showed up in Silithus to kill Thunderaan and to see me get my Thunderfury. Realm first. The game lagged so much because of all the players gathered at once place. A lot of high end raiding tanks and rogue was offering me a lot of gold for the sword. I told them that i couldn't sell it but wished them good luck getting the bindings.Classic was the best!2nd. Greatest momentMy guild were in Zul'Gurub back in Classic. We were on our way to High Priest Thekal and i accidently pulled all the imps at the road to the boss. My guild got so mad and wanted me to pay for their repair bills. Sadly i had no choice and i ended up paying 265g for repairs that night. That was a lot of gold for a hunter who only plays casual. Anyways, we finished off High Priest Thekal, and guess what dropped? The freaking Zulian Tiger! Everyone rolled need on the mount and to my biggest surprise, i won it! That day i didn't care if i had just used nearly 80% of my gold on peoples repair. I was the first person to get that mount!3rd. Greatest momentThe day our main tank got the Corrupted Ashbringer. We had heard of the Ashbringer weapon, and thought this was some kind of weapon that you upgraded to Ashbringer. We started to read up on Warcraft lore and came across that Mograine was the former leader of the Scarlet Crusade. "Scarlet Crusade.. Isn't that the Scarlet Monastary?" We went to the Scarlet Monastary and to our chock, none of the mobs were against us! They were all kneeling! We went through the instance until we came to the alter in the church. We were all nearly peeing our pants, just waiting to get ashbringer! But sadly all we got was a roleplay scene.. Still a great moment!
