My favorite memory would have to be when I sent "i love you..." whispers to everyone online on my realm. I did this to cheer up the seriousness of the players in Warcraft nowadays. I got alot of feedback and to my surprise most of them said 'I love you too' That really changed how i thought about the level 70's on my realm that day.
I remember leveling my mage with my friend who was a warlock in BC I think. We would sit there and horribly attempt to do 5-mans together, wiped alot, but it was so much fun, just sitting there talking and talking online for hours trying to clear deadmines xD!
So many memories, i want to share more than one!But if I had to choose, I'd go with the time me and my buddy Leotoes kited Anachronos from Tanaris all the way to Orgrimmar just for the heck of it. It took two and a half hours to get there, carefully making sure not to kill him. When we come across people, mostly in the barrens, they'd be cheering on us and some even started to tag along. We passed the gates with about 20 people following us. We wanted to bring him to Thrall to see if he would attack him, but the folks in orgri didn't understand and ended up killing him about halfway into the city :(All the props and hearing trade talk about it for a few days felt pretty good. There's a video of his last moments lying around somewhere on youtube.
My favourite memory was on 14th Feb 2010. My guild had a valentines day ball. You had to dress up in suits and gowns, looking all smart, and bring a partner (and a gift for them too if your nice)! We had a lot of fun with vanity items and chatting in Lakeshire on the pier :) And afterwards we had a race to Goldshire! I didn't win but still... good times!
My favorite memory has to be using preparation as a sub-spec rogue, and vanishing twice to survive raid boss wipes. It would make my guildies mad. The raid leader would call for a wipe, everyone would stop and die. I would run away, vanish to drop aggro so the boss would kill everyone else (FD hunters included) then when he came for me again, vanish one more time and he would reset. I saved so much gold in the MC days.
One of the greatest things that happened to me personaly while playing WoW was obtaining Rivendare's Deathcharger in Stratholme. My girlfriend at the time was trying to get every mount possible, and she told me about The Time-Lost Proto Drake and Rivendare's Deathcharger. She had tried over 600 times to get the Deathcharger, and failed. On my first go on my favorite character (Travelocty, 80 gnome DK), the mount dropped for me. It was fun rubbing it in everyone's face. :)
My favorite memory from WoW would definitely be mimiron, this fight was one of the first raid killer fights I saw once I started raiding regularly in WoW and loved it. The first time I hopped on the train to get to him I knew I was in for a good time. Actually engaging the boss I remember thinking how weird it was to be fighting the boss's toy cars instead of the boss himself. The most nerve wracking part of the fight for me in my guild runs was always Phase 3 having to burn down all 3 vehicles at the same time so they didn't revive each other. It was very on the edge of my seat but an absolute blast. The hard mode version of the fight is even more fun and intense. Downing this boss the first time was one of the first big 'holy sh*t that was bad ass!' moments for me in WoW raiding.
My favorite Wow moment was soon after a my first snow in (moved to KY from FL), I decided to try out Wow, got into the awesome sites and while questing met a very beautiful and interesting Night Elf Warrior, we continued questing together and one day stumbled across "The Caverns of Time"...wow..what a date! Lots of screen shots and kool memories.
My favorite moment is when I finally finished Glory of the Hero in Northrend, after grinding it for a month with guildies. I can't tell you how many times I ran Violet Hold just to get the specific bosses to come out. It was fantastic being able to mount my Red Proto-Drake for the first time! (now I'm on the hunt to get as many as possible!)
My favourite memory would have to be when I decided to redeem the landro's gift card from my catacalysm ce and opened it to see a spectral tiger. Quite easily my favourite mount so far (Use it more then my sandstone drake)
My favorite WoW memory would definitely be when I first entered Darnassus on my first toon ever. I was so awe-struck by the sheer size and beauty of the place. I can remember walking up to Darnassus and just thinking "wow....". Entering Darnassus and seeing the huge beautiful archways and the giant walking trees protecting the place..... It made me feel like I was just a small part of something bigger. That is certainly a memory that I will never forget.
