As with many people, my favorite WoW moment is in raiding. There hasn't been a single moment in wow better than being the first guild on my realm to down Illidan. It was like rapture was happening on vent, the screams of joy where palpable. It took the raid leader almost 10 minutes to calm us down enough to take the screen shot lol.

My favourite memories were probably creating my human paladin which I still play today (oh I love my bananadin), cluelesly wondering around Westfall with a couple of gnomes in my party at low levels, raging about no Internet for a week and a half just a few weeks after starting to get into WoW.
Would have to say my best memory of WoW was when there was still world PVP. Heading into the inn in southshore and ganking a couple lowbies so they would call for their friends. The crazy, massive fights with corpses everywhere. Getting a team together and killing the flight master so people could not leave... *sigh* good times, good times.
Definetelly dealing the killing blow to Mother Shahraz at the time of progression. No tanks alive, healers were all dead as well, 4 pople alive. top aggro, you see her running towards you, but she never gets to her destination; instead, she dies from my tick of Corruption. The cheering on Vent was something exceptional, especially since everyone was at that "Oh god, we're wiping!" mood. :)
Asking some randomer how to jump.
My favorite moment was starting my first character who still to this day is my main. I made Ilikegold the Dwarf Warrior in 2006 after buying the game based on my friends recommendation. I didn't have any experience with MMO games before this and had stuck to console games for the most part so stepping into this huge world was outstanding. Walking around using the keyboard and clicking my abilities with the mouse (such a n00b ^.^ ) made me as happy as could be. Everything seemed so detailed and mystical, it felt easy to get immersed into the game world. As I leveled I felt like I was accomplishing something where in other games like FPS's there wasn't any comparable feeling. When I got to level 8 or so my friend who was a level 30ish Night Elf Warrior came to help me and show me around. A quest lead me over to the entrance to Gnomeregon and my friend warned me not to go in because the mobs were too difficult for me. Of course being a new player whose ego was boosted by the quick gains in level, I ran into there with my axe in hand ready to take on anything. I'm pretty sure that I got slaughtered by 3 mobs in about 2 seconds but I still remember it to this day. You never can get back that first experience with WoW where everything is new and amazing.
My favourite memory from World of Warcraft was in WotLK when i was fighting the boss in Karazhan that drops that horse mount and i was there with some friends and doing whole instance and so on. But the mount droped and i really wanted it and my friends rolled high rolls and one of my friend rolled 99 and i like `` omg im never gonna get that mount now..´´ and i rolled and i rolled 100 xD i was so happy then that all my friends and i laughed at my friend that rolled 99 and he laughed too xD for a while then he gotted angry a little because he didn´t won it :)
My most memorable world of warcraft moment? Hmmm...It's got to be the first time I started playing, during WotlK, I was randomly invited to a guild, which I accepted, and made lots of friends and nice helping people, then out guild leader started becoming quite mean, and a few of us didn't like it. Eventually, the GL kicked a few of my friends, without an explanation, and a guild Riot broke out =D After much arguing, I left, and to my amazing suprise, so did many many more, me and my friend started up a guild, and those that left the old one joined us, and we became a friendly happy enviroment to be, it was brilliant - and still is! :-) We are still going, and helping other lost players like we were a long time ago, and never forgetting how we came to be the great players we are today, so I thank that horrible guild leader, and I thank the greatness of WoW for bringing us together, because now we're really really good pals. And thats a long memory :)
