My friend Cinzi baked a birthday cake for me and she and my sister surprised me with a casual party. Several friends came and we enjoyed just chatting at the big table for Harvest Festival. It was like a full turkey dinner with lots of dessert, and the sweetest part was my sister, daughter, and friends there to celebrate with me! It was all the sweeter when you consider that my sister and I are both disabled and cannot physically visit with one another. On WOW we can see each other every day! She introduced me to WOW, thanks to my nephew who introduced her to the game. We've been playing about a year and a half now and still love it!
My favorite memory in WoW is my guild's first venture into SSC. Wipes abound, and there was no loot to be had, but fun in spades.
My favorite moment was just after patch 1.9. I had been farming Morrowgrain for weeks with my Dwarf Rogue to get Exaulted with Darnassus. I was aiming to be one of the first on my server with a cross faction mount, which at the time cost (If i remember) 1000g for Tiger Riding Training and £1000 for the Mount iteself. - back in the days when 50g was a hell of a lot of money.During the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj event I ground linen, leather and anything else in order to get the commendations required to raise my rep those few points. Two days before the gates opened on Shadowsong I hit Exaulted with the Darnassus, I stood on the dias next to the scarab gong and roared with my Nightsaber as the event started... one of the few dwarfs riding anything other than a Ram on the server that wasnt either a dungeon or raid drop.... and then the server crashed.
My favorite memory of WoW was when I did my first raid. It was Ulduar 10 man and I was as a disc priest MT healer. After a lot of wipes we've got a guildfirst. :D
My favorite memory in WoW was the first time I completed Alone in the Darkness (25 player). It was after ICC came out, but still a challenging fight nonetheless, not to mention we pugged it! Excited for completing the achievement, I was happy enough. But when I rolled a 98 on Mimiron's Head, my heart jumped! I never expected to win, I didn't even go to the run for the mount, and I actually won!Ever since then, I've ridden it exclusively. I was offered 100k gold, which was a very very large sum to me at the time, and I'm very glad I didn't take the offer. Sometimes I feel like the only reason I level my priest is just to ride around on that loud, obnoxious contraption with glowy eyes :)
My favorite memory was when our guild first whent zul´gurub and i got my first epic. A epic polearm i was so happy that day. Thats my favorite memory for WoW
Being an achievement hoarder, My favorite memory is achievement-chaining. Before hitting lvl 80, I spent several days calculating and planning the exact experience needed to do it while also getting 3 other explorer achievements. Also, when I received my "Exalted Argent champion of the Horde" achievement, I also planned it so that i got achievements for: "Exalted Champion of the Horde" "Ambassador of the Horde" and each of the "Exalted Champion of (Capitol City) achievements with one quest turn-in, totalling 8 Achievements. It just fills me with Joy to see my screen fill up with simultaneous achievements, and to show off to my guild :P. The annoyance it may or may not cause is just a plus :)Ding! http://s3.mmoguildsites.com/s3/gallery_images/157035/original.png?1299142969
My favourite memory of WOW is when i first reached level 80. I could finally join my friends on wow, who were already playing for a while.
My favorite moment in wow was the 3.0 patch. I was playing my level 46 paladin at the moment, and strulling into Un'Goro, King Mosh killed me on tuesday, then ret got owerpowered with the patch and I killed him easily <3 And that made me loooooove WoW <3
My favourite memory is when I first started WoW, I was a human mage and this was way before you could fly let alone in Azeroth. I accidentally found my way up to the top of the waterfall in that big lake south of Stormwind. I thought the graphics were so incredible, I screenshotted the view and Slowfalled down the waterfall taking loads more.I still use the first screenie as my wallpaper, it looks unbelievable. :)
Having started in Wrath around the launch of 3.2, and having never had any experience with the Warcraft universe, I had no knowledge of some of the majesty that was within the game. I had leveled with my toon's nose to the grindstone and had, around 40, been scooped up by a family/friend guild who I'd met a member of and become friends with. My favorite memory came a few days later when they formed a group of guildies with one warlock and headed out to Northrend. The 'lock and two others flew to each flight point and then summoned the rest of us to those points to get the flight point. I was still in my 40s and hadn't heard of Northrend, and as they're popping us around the lower half of the realm I'm enjoying myself, oogling the dragons of Dragonblight, admiring the tall trees of Grizzly Hills and looking at the vast herb nodes of Sholozar. Then I got a summons to Ulduar. Knowing nothing of the place, I hit the accept button and was completely floored as this amazing, beautiful set of structures appeared before me. Breathtaking architecture dazzled me and left me speechless as my ultra settings revealed the gold, green and bronze among a swirl of misty white snow and dappled gray stone. It was months before I set foot for the first time within that beautiful raid, and even longer before I completed it and finally saw Algalon. But I knew on that first day as my throat locked up and tears trailed along my cheeks that this would be the goal of my little hunter's story. She eventually became swept up in the story of fighting and downing the Lich King, but her heart and her story ended with Ulduar. Retiring her was difficult, but she sits astride her steed, surrounded by dark stone, frosty mists and ancient secrets.
My best memories in World of Warcraft are connected with preWotLK events, when everybody could make his own zombie squad) It was really fun, and it was one of the best things in WoW history!))
