My favorite moment was when on my birthday, when my guild presented me 20 stacks of Mysterious Fortune Card.A nice present with a portion of originality.Second one was when Valithria was healed by the proc of Althor's Abacus while the raid was dead.
I would have to say my favorite moment in wow was when I was playing my warlock back in the day, and had to earn my epic horse mount from buying the items in Burning Steeps, and taking them to Dire Maul, just to fend off demons so I could get my awsome mount.
The beginning levels of what is now my main character were the best times I've had in WoW. The wonder of new story lines, my first computer gaming experience, the adrenaline of running from mobs I didn't realize were hostile till it was too late and the seemingly endless landscape were all overwhelmingly wonderful. The first 1-60 was the best gaming experience I've ever had.
My favorite moment in World of Warcraft was in my hunter doing the EPIC quest to achiev the Rhok'delar, Longbow of the Ancient Keepers and the Lok'delar, Stave of the Ancient Keepers back in the classic days. I remember the 3 bosses that are disguised in the world, but the most remarkable one was Nelson, the Nice; the little gnome in Silithus.I miss the old days. Thanks Wowhead to be with me all these years. Happy Birthday.
My favorite memory was when I discovered druid would be getting flight forms in BC. THe reason I picked that class was because I thought they had a bird form. Finding out we would get one soon really made my day.
My favorite memory from WOW was getting of my first epic item, it was Bands of Indwelling. That day I was so incredibly happy!
My favorite memory from World of Warcraft was when I was a lowly level 23 human warlock back in vanilla on the server Zuluhed. My level 60 guild leader, a human priest named Kienreth, noticed I had no Rare items, and he decided to bring me and a few guildies to Shadowfang Keep.So we traveled from Stormwind to Ironforge, all the way across Dun Morogh. We journeyed up through Wetlands and when we finally got to Arathi Highlands we encountered a level 60 Undead Mage in full tier 1 and 2 named Muffinman. He instaoneshot me and all my level 20 friends, but an epic battle ensued between the two as I watched from corpse. Kienreth ended up proving victorious and we all rezzed up and continued our journey. The next time Muffinman showed up, I was ready. I instantly sacrificed my Voidwalker to avoid being one shot. It didn't work :S I died anyway, but I had Soul Stoned myself, so I popped up and spammed Fear until one got off, I proceeded to do my best to dot up the mage, and when I did, I started reFearing and Draining Life. Together, Kienreth and I took down the ferocious mage and we never saw him again! While the SFK was successful, and I won the robes and shoulders (marking my first 2 Rare items ever), and I've long since moved over to the EU realms, the battle we had with Muffinman has stuck with me ever since!
Best memory is a Karazhan raid, lvl 70. We're fighting Prince, he's down to just a few percent health. My shadow priest and the pally tank are the only ones left alive. He uses debilitate on me. I'm surrounded by the infernals so I have no where to go and die to shadow nova. The tank bubbles and finishes off the last 1% by himself. It was soo epic! It was the perfect end to a great night of raiding. We still talk about it to this day.
My favorite memory of WoW doesn't really involve the game, so much as the connection to friends.I changed to WoW from EQ shortly after launch and very quickly made a good group of friends. We played for a couple years together but sadly we grew apart and our group of 5 became a solo expedition for me.About 8 months ago I was in a BG and recognized one of the names. Turns out it was one of my friends we chatted through the whole BG (sorry for the loss anyone that was there). A few weeks later I bumped into another one of the group. Somehow in a period of 5 weeks we all bumped into one another. Even though we all changed servers over the years, we ended up in the same battlegroup. Thanks to random BG's and a lot of luck the 5 of us were able to get back into touch and while we aren't on the same severs we have Real ID to stay in contact and soon with the premium features we get to play together again. Not sure if this is what the contest had in mind, but those weeks getting back together are my happiest memory of WoW.
My favorite memory of WoW... hmm I think it would have to be shortly after I started playing, my RL friend and I were level 14, I a blood elf paladin, he a blood elf mage, we were down in ghostlands, and we decided we would head to the southern most area, and check it all out, so, we got on the zepplins (didn't know exactly where it would take us) and we set out on our journey, arriving in durotar we headed southwest, eventually after many deaths we finally got down to tanaris, where a level 70 (this was during BC) saw us, and he asked "WTF? how did you get down here?" we responded "we walked down why?" he then proceeded to tell us we needed to leave and that we were in the wrong place, we told him we were mobbin and we weren't about to stop, he laughed and hearthed out. After many more deaths we finally reached silithus, and aggroing the entire world it felt like, we were running and looking around just admiring the sights and the many crazy things in WoW; Finally we died for the last time, got back to our bodies and rezzed on up, and we made sure to avoid mobs, and marveled at the dragon that was in silithus that flew up near the mountains, and the vast space and creepy bug-like things spouting out of the ground with swarms of insects flying around, I think that day is my favorite memory of WoW, just because of the lvl 70, and silithus(at level 14).
I've had great guildies, epic boss kills, and lots of hard work that ended up paying off awesomely. But my favorite every time has got to be the feeling when you explore new land, find new creatures and goodies, and all around just experience the huge and complex world you're in. I used to ride around Winterspring and Feralas just to look at how pretty and awesome they were, and I still love the experience of finding new and hidden things.
