The most crucially important moment in all my WOW experience was the second I realized that my ultimate objective in the game (as in life) is to champion it's most unreachable & secret achievements/mounts/legendaries/etc and come out as the holder of the most rare & valuable tites, objects, pets (as I am a Hunter) and so forth. Being on top of the game is what I tend to ever since - just like the team at WowHead was always committed to become the solitary knowledge base for out favourite MMORPG. All the best to you on you 5th anniversary, we shall drink to you at (EU) Голдринн!
My favorite memory is definitely killing Nefarian in BWL the first time. I haven't downed the new one in BWD yet, so I don't know how the encounter has changed, but back then, this was by far the funniest and most exciting thing I've ever done in WoW. And not only was it Nefarian, basically all the BWL encounters were incredible fun, as my brand-new level 60 rogue was quite loot lucky, and with ~300 DPS I was always #1 =DGood god how I love reminiscing about the good 'ol days. :-)
My favorite memory has to be the evens of Opening of Gates of Ahn'qiraj. One of the must unique things that has ever happened in this game and will most likely never happen again. (I hope I'm wrong)
My favorite memory was from the main AH in Orgrimmar. An 85 orc death knight had a Singing Sunflower companion. It sang, and he slapped it across the face.
My favorite memory of WoW dates back to BC when I was lvling my first rogue. I am a ardent pvper, and I was killing some alliance in Zangarmarsh, they were not very happy about it so they called an 70 druid to come help them out. I spent the next hour or so killing a lvl 70 epiced druid as a lvl 68 rogue along with other alliance. We were outnumbered, but they were outskilled. Priceless.
My favorite memory in WoW is when I first server transferred to my current realm.. and met my fiance. Little less than a week on the server, and I was just roaming around Hellfire mining to up an alts engineering. I was asked by someone to help them with a Magtheridon raid. Little did I know that person who randomly picked me out of all the people on the server to help them would two years later be my fiance.
My favorite memory from Wow was the first time I stepped onto the train in Ulduar, the view on that short journey is absolutely breath taking, and Ulduar is easily my favorite raid to this day largely because of the amazing atmosphere blizzard created in with it.
My favorite memory of WoW would be my first time experiencing the game. A co-worker of mine told me about the game, and I was always curious about it, I just remember being amazed and confused at the same time the first time I logged on. The first character I created was a human shadow priest and I just remember being really excited when I first saw Northshire Valley and Goldshire. I knew from there that I would continue to play WoW and I guess the rest is history :)
