They probably all taste nutty or something, like in D+D.

I imagine a real-life flask would taste like crap, just like the ones we already have (I'm looking at you, antibiotics). Nope, not any spices in those flasks!

Well it would not taste good, but I imagine it would be like a spreading effect from the flask.
if you mean real, real life effects then you should follow the ingredients in flasks. My guess would be like a spicy flavour who is sickenly sour.

Flasks and elixirs would generally taste like some sort of herbal tea. Anything with stranglekelp or Azshara's Veil in it would probably have an aftertaste of
nori
. It's seaweed, after all.
Most potions would probably be either bitter, tongue-shrivelingly sour, or sickly sweet. Why else do you think you can't use them that often?

With some of the items used for the items I don't think that I would want to drink them IRL.
I mean look at Cinderbloom it in the Stength Dps and Tank Flask. And would imagen that it taste like ash. Given the areas that it grows at in game.
So no I don't think I want to drink an Elixer of Ash with other random items throught in for color.
And I would not eat any of some of the food items that are cooked in game. But don't think I have to go there.
Some of my favorite Med. Flavors are Cherry,Grape,Bubblegum, and Orange. And I just dread anything else and just take the shoot straight back and try not to let it hit my tongue so I don't have to taste it.

So. A question I always ask myself when a guild cauldron is put up, what does a flask taste like?
I always assumed the guild cauldron contained some kind of stew. The kind north-west European iron age forest dwellers would make. Meats from many type of forest animals, many type of forest roots, plants etc.

I think they can taste like anything. I dont know what kind of herbs taste in WoW. Maybe they taste good like candy or something. Then flasks also will taste good or almost good. They can taste bad too like cygumber medicine.
