Yeah, I'd been googling pictures of it just to see different stuff and saw a few of those. I love the incredibly flamboyant rainbow road.
Heh yeah; well, that was the 'ghetto' age of comics at the time.

This will always be Thor to me
.
The attitude of Thor in the movie was perfectly like how I would expect Thor from mythology to be, with the exception of the falling in love with Natalie Portman.
There's a multiverse version of him that looks like that.

Speaking of multiverse, I think
this
, may be my favorite version of him.

To those asking about the Norse god of war, if I remember correctly, it's Tyr.

Saggy, Loki wanted to destroy an entire planet and all the inhabitants. That single fact, IMO, makes him a worse king than Thor.

Nope. Tyr is the god of duels and the like, bravery. Odin is the actual god of war, along with being king of the gods.
E: MyTie, Thor wanted to do the same thing. Loki did it for his people, Thor tried to do it for himself.

Did Thor want to go down there and ZOMG KILL EVERYTHING, or did he want to go and shake things up, make them pay for coming into their city?

ZOMG KILL EVERYTHING.

They both wanted to kill them all; difference was Thor's was by hand, Loki's was by blowing up the world...which may have been a bad plan anyways; remove one of the 9 realms and you weaken the Tree and %^&* things up.

I thought that Thor's hammer could only be used by the 'worthy'? >.> Again, I'm going off movieverse because I know next to nothing about the comicverse.
Well Odin deamed him "worthy" in that case. The Hulk lifted it just through sheer strength once too, but that was Ultimate Hulk so it dosnt rly count. Hes also tried and failed a bunch of times.
As far as I remember the only ones to have lifted it are Odin, Thor, Hulk, Thors grandfather, and I
think
Captain America (I may be wrong on that last one). Superman lifted it in Marvel vs DC, but thats not cannon.
Also, for reasons no one can fathom,
Deadpool
.
...though to be honest, I think they were
handing out Mjolnirs
that day (I believe it was Loki's fault).

I am not going to go into a detailed review, but I liked the movie. It definitely had some weak plot moments, but at the end the following good things about it won me:
Thor. I mean, really. It's a movie about the freaking god of thunder.
Special effects. While not superb, tossing lightnings around is the way to my heart.
Original approach. I thought it was pretty clever how Asgard was made a like a different world/planet. I kind of expected it to just chill somewhere in the clouds. On top of that the association between science and magic was a nice touch I would love to turn out to be true :P
Norse/Nordic references. Can never have enough of those.

Ahahahahaha.
I think Dr. Doom picked it up once too, not sure how he pulled it off though

Thor may be a god but somone like Galactus could crush him like a flea. Not exactly; Beta Ray Bill(Thor as an alien) has driven off Galactus before, and taken down two different Heralds.
All things in the Marvel universe are subjective after all.
So wait thor can take galactus nut not the hulk? also isnt galactus a god too?

I've already explained what I think about this, but, besides that, it doesn't make him a !@#$ty king. It just makes him a prick.

Galactus was a scientist named Galen who lived in the previous universe that came before the Marvel universe. He flew into a cosmic storm while the universe was imploding on itself and that was how he became Galactus. He has all the power of the previous universe including that universes Gods and its Phoneix Force. So no Thor can not defeat him, not even close.
As for Thor vs Hulk, most of their fights have been interupted, as far as one of them completley beating the other one down and defeating them utterly without any kind of help, I think the last count is Hulk-2 Thor-1. They can both pose a threat to each other though, honestly it depends on how angry the Hulk is.
