The Black Temple as I had done it at the time of progression. Being one out of the three survivors and landing the killing blow really stored this achie in my memory. :)

Easy one: ChargerCompleted it back in vanilla, when i first turned 60, and it was one of the most epic things i have ever done (mostly) solo in this game. Heck, i still use the Blood knights Tabard i got from the quest, because i'm not just a normal paladin, i'm a full blown Blood Knight! :)
It belongs in a museum, I simply love all the goofy vanity items and pets from archaeology (even though I feel my rogue and my feral druid got a bit left out on the whole 359-epic loot). I'll probably continue looking for those few missing pieces yust because I find it relaxing and rewarding (and perhaps I'll even have a heads start on the next archaeology achievement).
The Hero of Shattrath achievement is the achievement that I'm proudest of. I'm an avid recipe collector, and when I saw that both the Scryers and the Aldor had tailoring patterns I knew I was in for a long, long grind. I was going to end with the Scryers, so I started out going for the Aldor - not really the handiest way to go about this as a Blood Elf, as this meant I had a nice disadvantage already.I did every single quest they had for me, and when those were all done I went on a killing spree to get Marks of Sargeras and Fel Armaments. My banker toon was getting bored after the Nth time I used her to scour the AH for nothing but those marks and armaments, and when I finally hit exalted I was relieved..... only to realise that I wasn't even halfway.Because then, then the basilisk massacre started. And again my banker was restricted to search for nothing but those squishy eyes. Day after day I returned to Arcanist Adyria, hoping that my sliming (and those eyes) would be enough to make this group of Blood Elves, members of my own race, accept me again. Finally they were tired enough of my sucking up that they allowed me to do their quests. I immediately proceeded to Netherstorm and Shadowmoon Valley, only to find out that some quests weren't available because they were tied to the BT chain. Well, so be it then... At least I had already gathered a nice amount of Sunfury Signets and Arcane Tomes from doing the dailies at the Isle (and begging them off guildies and friends). My banker sighed with relief at this stock, because she was getting seriously fed up with all these hours of camping the AH and buying nothing but the same item day after day.I rolled up my sleeves and went back into the Manaforges, scraping together every bit of Scryer rep that I could get my mitts on. I hoarded the signets as if they were my most prized possession, I even called off the occasional raid or daily heroic just to go hunt some more Blood Elves, I was getting more and more frantic as I came closer to hitting exalted with those Scryers. And then the day came.. and I was too drained to be bouncing around my room, but I still felt incredibly happy and accomplished.Of course, back then the achievement system didn't exist yet.... and I was agonised to see that back when they were implemented, I wasn't recognised for my long, long grind. I pleaded with a GM to give me my rightful achievement, but he refused and told me to just do it again. That comment broke my heart..... until one day, I logged on after a patch and suddenly saw that they had granted me my achievement! Oh god! Finally! Yaaaay! And I finally bounced around the room.
For me it's Hero of Shattrath, so long ...And after all this time, when achivement system launch, i ask GM to ensure me for this achivement to be retroactive, and when patch come out > No achivement ...Some time later (not remember the patch), this pop on my achivement window. So happy after this hard hunting 1450 basilik !
As one of the main tanks in the guild Stormwatch @ EU - Im actually really proud of the Shadowmourne, took a real long time to finish, watching three others grab shards while I had the quest line to get them, but time was on my side (and some good RNG for the others with shards).
Think i'll go with The Green Hills of Stranglethorn ! Just loved the hunting of those pages which was part of the achiev and the fact that u got to see a lot of different beasts as i am a "pet hunting" hunter :D
After spending seconds of hard work, i finally reached the uldum portal from the excruciatingly short flight from the inn. I mustered all my strength and courage, and right-clicked the portal. Sweat trickled down my neck... My mouth went dry with anxiety...My pupils dilated out of fear...Cold shivers swept through my body..."Pain. Agony. My hatred burns through the cavernous deeps. The world heaves with my torment. Its wretched kingdoms quake beneath my rage. But at last, the whole of Azeroth will break! And all will burn beneath the shadow of my wings!"BAM!I Stood in the Fire.
