My favorite zone would have to be Nagrand. It was breath taking wandering into it for the first time. You could tell that special care was taken to make the zone special.
Nagrand was my favorite. I just enjoyed the open space.
MY fav zone is deep holm. i loved all the quests there and loved how diff it felt from all the icc quests. Driven seig engines tossing explosives getting to go underground its all fun and new ;p. I also loved the part in the wargon starting off place and how you get to experiance everything from being human to the bite to the transofrming and the struggle. Also the part ware you got to ride in the knight elf blade shooter was really sick also ;p wish more starting zones were like the wargons
I really love Ashenvale. My very first character was a night elf hunter, and the place always reminds me of the first days I spent playing, tumbling around Teldrassil... and the feeling of awe I got when I finally made the run down through Darkshore and stepped into this even bigger forest. I think that's when I really realized just how big a world Azeroth is, and it was a completely flooring sensation; I've never played a game with such a huge world. The haunting music, the colors, the architecture, and the textures of the grass, the stone, the trees... I've sometimes stopped what I was doing while questing there to investigate some new ruined marble structure I've never seen before. All in all a very beautifully designed zone, full of many wonderful memories from both questing and RP.
Mine would have to be Grizzly Hills, as you have such a nice variety of quests. At one end, you have classic Horde vs Alliance quests, in the middle you find out about the failed world tree, and then on the eastern side you have troll quests. Who doesn't love troll quests?
Nagrand is my favorite place. The islands flies! Need more?
Uldum has to be my current favorite zone. Who couldn't love all the Harrison Jones quest chains there? And Budd! BUDD SAVES US AT THE BEGINNING! Epic start to an epic zone!
Shadowmoon Valley all the way. The music is amazing and the atmosphere is unlike any other zone I've encountered before.
My favorite zone is Vashj'ir. its the only zone in cata that i have not been ganked in. the sea horse is also nice.
My favorite has to be Eastern Plaguelands. It just gives off an eerie feeling all is lost. The decimated towns the undead everywhere. Just death looming everywhere.Inside zone would be Karazhan it was well put together the music/theme. It all just felt right.
Deepholm. While there's Indiana Jones and Norse Mythology elsewhere, when Cata had to drop elemental zones, I figured the "Earth" themed zone would be horrendous. But the artwork was simply amazing. Before I dumped herbalism, I would farm there just to check out the nooks and crannies the designers put together....
mine is silvermoon and the area around it, when ever i am on, i find myself(if not leveling) around that area, apart from the dead scar the whole area is stunning, and and it has a fair contrast of colors. as well as the fact that it is one of the most pivotal places in all of WotLK, and silvermoon itself, for the grand architecture of the area, and the fact first time i walked in there, i was awe struck with the majesty of the place
The Maelstrom - wish there was more time to be spend there. It's so... perfect.
Feralas is still my favorite zone. I remember the first time I rode through it on my mount, it was just epic. Seeing the Twin Colossals and then riding by, through and around all those trees and giant roots, and then going by the waterfall. I explored that zone as much as I could and still like to go back there on occasion.
my favorite would be uldum. the quest lines move along nicely and the overall feel of the zone is just cool. plus having waited since vanilla to get in there, after finishing the disks quest line, it just didn't disappoint.
My favorite just might be Kezan/Lost Isles. I really enjoyed the entire Goblin starting area!
My favorite zone, without a doubt is the new Thousand Needles. Sailing around just never gets old. And it feels like Windwaker all over again :D.
