My favorite zone was the older Duskwood as it was the first zone I went into that gave me that eerie feeling, a sense of suspense leading up to the stories of the worgen and undead as well Deadwind Pass and let's not forget Sititches ganking noobs on the road!
I love Teldrassil, it looks so green and magical. The zone shows that civilization and nature can walk together. Moonwells, monsters and its lore are great. The background music is the best of WoW in my opinion.
Actually, the Cataclysm-revamped Dun Morogh would be my favorite zone! I love snow, mountains and Dwarves, and starting a new Dwarf or Gnome character is now funner than ever!
Currently, my favorite zone is Deepholm. The first time I flew over the giant tunnel/cave entrance just south of Therazane, it took my breath away. Also, Therazane is a stone cold hotty. She makes me nostalgic for vanilla WoW, and Princess Theradras.
My favorite zone would probably have to be Grizzly Hiills not because of the questing but just the scenery surroundind it, reminds me of the beutiful part of Canada away from the major cities like where you'd see that type of northern wildlife. And the music is so relaxing it almost brought me to tears hearing it for the first time being so captivated by it. Every bit of the zone just seems natural and you hardly see traces of the grim wrath of the lich king architecture the only exception being the horde settlement that's out of place. Most of all what other zone can you go to that has free log rides down a winding river? That alone shohuld be the main selling point for everyone else to love this zone.
Uldum for sure! Great quest line with all the temples and references to Indiana Jones, awesome art, and I just love the whole "Ancient Egyptian" feel to it.
Definitely have to go with Searing Gorge. I have lots of great memories in Vanilla fighting for the flight path and raiding MC and BWL.
