My favorite zone is a toss up. But despite my affection for Deepholm, it has to be Nagrand. I had so many memories and fun times in that zone, plus all my explorations off the edges and the floating islands - I never really stayed in the main part of the zone, I was always off in the weird spots! I dinged 70 in that zone on my first ever level-cap toon - I'd started only a few months before TBC hit and my priest had hit 51 the day before. I'd made such a mad dash, trying to hit 60 first! But then TBC came. But I remember my first view of Nagrand, riding in on my paladin. Staring in awe at the sudden brightening of light, the sudden greenery rather than the gloomy, glowy-mushrooms of Zangarmarsh. There was green, and brown, and blue, and birds, and... then Gutripper was trying to eat me. I managed to escape, but it's my most memorable zone entrance to date! I was a little sad when I had to leave to continue my journey to 70 (I kept Garadar as my hearth, though). But, after my first Shattered Halls run, which got my fiance's hunter to 70 but not my paladin, my guildies flew and hearthed back to Garadar with me. I only had a few kills' worth of experience left to ding, and so we mounted and ran, leaping out over the waterfall and down into the unsuspecting wildlife below! That's probably my favorite memory of Nagrand - the mad rampage amongst the Talbuks and Clefthooves. I think we made Hemet Nesingwary proud that day. When I got my first flyer, I flew back to Nagrand just so I could finally explore those floating islands and the outer edges. First thing I did, first thought I had was going back to Nagrand and exploring. I've gone back to hold events, guild parties, in-character weddings, help guildies leveling or farming or whatever. Sometimes I go back just to hang out on the island with the tree and the skeleton while I wait in queue.
my favorite zone would probably be Isle of Quel'Danas. Since nobody goes there anymore its nice and quiet and if your ever bored there's a ton of dailies, a raid and a dungeon to do and of course the chance at a rare mount AND a companion pet. also it is nice since its basically one of the few areas NOT affected by the Shattering which is nice for new people to see an original area still intact.
Alot of people don't like Vash, but I love that zone. It makes me feel so calm and at peace due to the sound of the ocean and creatures around me. The bright colors of the plants, and the maze of the zone is just amazing! I love to listen to new players ask how to get to a quest giver that they can't find due to a cave, sure I help them..but still it is alittle bit entertaining. OH and the Whale Shark and other random boss elites that swim around the zone..helps someone keep on their toes instead of just swimming around aimlessly. ./sigh I still remember the first encounter I had with Whale Shark..it scared the crap out of me by swimming up behind me when I wasn't paying attention. And who couldn't love a zone that gives you a free mount just for questing there! Sure you get a pet from Mount Hyjal, but a seahorse mount is awesome.I can't express my love for how bright some of the zone is, the corals..random schools of brightly colored fish..and the critters below on the sea floor are so cute! Sure as you get farther into the zone, things get dark due to the Twilight Cult, but before all of that the zone is just something to love. The Ruins are beautiful, all the lore behind the statues and Nagas. I would have to say my favorite quest in that zone was when I had to turn into a naga warrior maiden. The lore behind that quest line was fun and exciting while I killed stuff! Everytime i start a new alt from lvl 80, I know I am questing in Vash first because I can peacefully quest there without feeling bored or annoyed..the music of the zone is great..the scenery is great. Everything about that zone is perfect. Almost makes me feel like a Warrior Mermaid ROFL.
i dont hav 1 particular favorite. but the new cataclysm areas kick some seroius ass. cool look, cool gear, coll quests, and cool enemies.
Duskwood. Always Duskwood.I rolled an alliance toon again after all these years to redo the zone prior to the cataclysm. The story of Morgan Ladimore, the dark riders, Sven Yorgen, Jitters... everything in that zone was just brilliant. All the lore that ties this place together with so many parts of the rest of the world, and with raids, makes it by far the best zone in the game. Not to mention the grove in the middle with one of the emerald dragons. I remember, very fondly, the first time I came here and explored the mountain, thinking I had found some giant secret... only to suddenly realize there was an actual path up the mountain. ;)Just great. Really nothing you can say to disagree with that.

my favorite area would probably have to be Elwynn Forest. You have Goldshire which is always full of people who want duel. Also you have Stormwind which is amazing, and fun to go in trade chat to talk to the people there and the fun of random stuff that they say in it.=)
I really like what was done with Mount Hyjal. It is still my favorite BC raid and I was looking forward to questing there since hearing about its introduction as a zone. The lore is great. The landscape/music are fantastic. I can't wait to witness more of the zone's evolution in the next patch. A close second would be Storm Peaks. Also packed with lore and great questlines.
Uldum, hands down. I have been studying Ancient Egypt since I was about 4 year years old, and I love spending as much time in this zone as possible. The quests are hilarious, and the zone design is just *drool*worthy!
Hmm... Well, I would have to say that Uldum has become my favorite zone! The themed questing and bountiful resources really make this zone stand out. There are other zones like Uldum that employ similar phasing and whatnot, but Uldum truly feels epic in the way the history immerses the player.
Oh god! My favorite zone must be Pre-Cata Barrens! So many good memories. You just can't forget "the Barrens chat", it was truly unique!
My favorite zone was Tarren Mill and the unending world PVP at the beginning of WoW, I really miss those times :(
I like Eastern Plaguelands, great questchains and lore... especially back in vanilla! Aah, I remember the hours and hours of grinding gold in Tyr's Hand :)
I really love outland overall, but the favorite must be Blade's Edge Mountain, because It's so detailed, and must've been put ALOT of effort into it. Every little detail, stunning.
Mine has to be Darkshore, a lot of cool memory's partaking to that area, when I first started playing, I spent hours just roaming that area, just in aw of the beauty of the zone.
My favorite zone is Silverpine forest. I love the new questline that leads into hillsbrad and Johnny Awesome :) - all of my horde characters go through it now.
