Easy, Shadowmoon Valley. Had some of the most epic quests, one of the best mount(s) vendors, and awesome scenery. Still my favorite zone to quest in to this day because of the group quests and the awesome rewards they give.
Gonna have to go with Elwyn Forest.....something about that place just makes me always come there and do all its quests on my characters, this cozy feeling i get from the place maybe.

Tanaris! I think it looks great :)
Tirisfal Glades. Deathknell was always my 2nd home in game. :D
My favorite zone would have to be Nagrand. I remember having a favorite island where I would sit during downtime and relax, sometimes just chatting with friends instead of running around questing or doing dungeons.
My Favorite zone is Bloodmyst isle at sunset, the red sun the red ocean and watter walking your way out to the horizon.Nothing beats this tranquil color, and atmosphere.
my zone zone is Silverpineforest not because the worgens like others but because they built an awsome new quest change and story for the undead that makes the forsaken look more like a kingdom rather than a bunch of undead minions without a cause.
I've always loved Zul'Gurub. I haven't tried the new version yet, but I love trolls, and it contained the trolliest bosses and the trolliest looking gear around. Also, a plague that you used to be able to spread around Orgrimmar for lulz.
I personally like Storm Peaks. Fighting giants is fun. and the graphics are very cool over there.
Mine is Desolace. Best place to level if you wanted to be alone. No chat box going off, no one stealing your mobs. Just you and the basilisk.
I have to say that my favourite zone has to be Icecrown. The whole Arthas Saga was finally concluding, and you got to peek at the inner workings of Icecrown Citadel, the legacy he was building (Ner'Zhul rather) and it was indeed an apt closing chapter to WoTLK. Loved building rep with ashen verdict, ebon blade. Oh it was fun to see Varimathras again.
Winterspring .. So calm and quiet. White and clean.
My favorite zone would have to be Duskwood before and after the Shattering.Duskwood left an impression on me greater then any other zone ever did, mostly thanks to its dark and horrifying landscaping, mobs, and quests. It is a cursed and twisted land forever blanketed in darkness due to the effects of the Scythe of Elune, which we now know is what summoned Worgen to Azeroth and is the cause of the darkness the currently covers what used to be part of the gorgeous Elwynn Forest. When I first traveled there I was nothing but a low level gnome mage, and World of Warcraft had only been out for about five months. You know what they about first impressions... And Duskwood left me intimidated and almost too terrified to begin questing. As I crept into Duskwood after finishing Westfall, the sky turned black and the land faded into a dark hue, an enormous change from the bright and open-skied Westfall. After I reached the town of Darkshire, I began questing, and fell in love with the lore heavy characters that inhabit Duskwood. You could never ask for better lore heavy monsters and NPCs! Mor'Ladim has a very sad story, and was one of my favorite quest. Morbent Fel was a necromancer that summoned the undead from the Raven Hill cemetery, and returned after the shattering as a lich up to the same deeds as before. I chalked up destroying him as one of my greatest achievements in WoW. And last but not least, the scariest monstrosity to ever wonder Duskwood, the gift from Abercrombie himself, Stitches! Never have I ever been more terrified of any mob in World of Warcraft, hearing him yell his signature and blood churning "DARKSHIRE... I HUNGER!" caused me to run for cover! Watching as he decimated Darkshire knowing it was all my fault evoked me to feel more guilt then a game ever caused me to feel ever before! Thanks to Cataclysm, I got to run through Duskwood one more time and tied up the loose ends due to the quest. I learned it was Jitters that found the Scythe of Elune, and not only unleashed worgen upon Duskwood, but caused Sven Yorgen's family to be slaughtered as a result of his cowardly actions of disposing of the scythe upon their farm. I even got to kill Abercrombie this time around instead of just his monster Stitches. Closure does wonders to a guilty mind.In short, Duskwood is without any doubt my favorite zone due to its lore, incredible atmosphere, and memorable characters. I can only wish that in some future expansion another zone so amazingly put together will come along and once again steal my attention.
Teldrassil is the zone who put a real mark on me.2½ Years ago, when i logged in for the first time, I was greeted with a vast lush place, Perfect harmony with nature and caretaking for the animals. The continued walk around the zone made me love it even more, everything was in so much harmony and beutey, spent most of my time just looking at the enviroment rather then quest, but once started questing i found it to be a enjoyable and helped me start me journey around the world of warcraft. Thanks to that zone i continued my play through and i still enjoy the game as much as the first day i logged in.
Despite all of the new and revamped Zones (which are indeed amazing), Nagrand is my favorite Zone. Whenever I quest there, I find myself staring at the beautiful landscape in awe. I would live there if I could, it is just that beautiful. the floating islands, the rolling green grasslands, the waterfalls cascading down from those islands, the breathtaking sunsets... Everything about this zone is magnificent. It is a beacon of tranquility and peace in a world ravaged by destruction and demonic Influence. I can spend hours in Nagrand simply taking a walk through it, enjoying the sights as though it were my first time there.
