I dearly love Karazhan - to date it's one of my all-time favorite raids, and the zone itself is gorgeous. I used to go back in there after the bosses were down and just explore every corner, listening to the music and seeing something new every time. I would LOVE to see more done with the place in later expansions!
Duskwood! Even before the shattering, it pulled off the "gloomy forest" incredibly well, and I always liked the quests, too.The fact that they didn't change much during the shattering means that it was pretty great the way it was.
My favorite zone is Ashenvale, before the Cataclysm. Afterwards, a lot of the forest is either chopped down or burned. My wife and I actually had a little ceremony at one of the Night Elf moon wells in Ashenvale after our real wedding. One of our friends tailored me a tux and her a dress. It was quite nice :-)
My favorite zone is Blade's Edge Mountains. I love the huge spikes everywhere and the area near Gruul with the dragons impaled on them.
Grizzly Hills. Loved the forest feel and the music. It made me wish it was a bigger zone.
Favorite zone? - I've leveled a lot of characters, and everytime I get to Nagrand, I get to happy inside. Nagrand is beautiful and well made. Quests are awesome too.So yeah, Nagrand is my favorite! :)

I will have to go with STV post Shattering. Epic quest to save a baby raptor, the battle for Booty Bay! SO much fun!
My favorite zone would be Nagrand. I love the vast flat plains, the lush waterfalls, and of course the quests.
My favourite zone has to be Eversong Woods. The music perfectly captures the beautiful but deadly nature of the Blood Elves as well as introducing perfectly the fel-concept behind The Burning Crusade. The architecture is stunning as well as the woodland landscape and the quests are pretty good too. The broken Silvermoon City shows the plight of the Blood Elves against the Scourge, so it's not just a pretty zone- it has a history behind it too. The creatures around the area suggest an exotic zone, something a bit different from the norm of boars and wolves: the dragonhawks, mana-wyrms and treants in particular show this. To put it simply: the guys at Blizzard must have had a lot of fun designing this zone and I can imagine the concept sketches for the buildings were pretty amazing.
For me, it's Vashj'ir. It's a real love it or hate it zone, and I absolutely loved it. Funny, epic, and with the underwater twist. It also feeds into the Throne of the Tides so perfectly too, it's nice to have an instance where you know who all the bosses are and why you are killing them.
Vash'jir was by far my favorite zone. With the amazing underwater environment, to the unique gameplay changes, topped off with an awesome quest line, it easily tops my list of the best zones.
I've always liked Sholazar. It's a beautiful zone, although it's somewhat saddening that the Scourge were trying to gain a foothold there.
I'm partial to Deadwind Pass because it truly lives up to it's name. In the days before Burning Crusade it was a dead zone. Then, like the wind, raiders blew through to test their fate at Karazhan, and as the Lich King rose, they left. Now it remains desolate and barren, waiting for a new purpose. I believe there are still many secrets we have yet to discover there....-DrW
Nagrand hands down, i always make a point to do that zone on all my alts, why do i like it... the grass is green, landscape is nice, and i love killing me some ogres :)
