I'd say Mulgore post-shattering. Specifically the Camp Narshe area right in the beginning. I say this because it's one of the places that I have been in the most and was one of the more changed areas I've related with. Before the shattering, the bristlebacks were a problem but it was a minor annoyance and life still went on. Then suddenly Deathwing breaks out and the bristlebacks' home collapses, causing them to panic and pour over the area toward the camp. Now it feels a lot more like a fight for their life there. Greatmother Hawkwind's death hit me hard, too. A Humble Task kind of stuck out in my mind as a very touching quest, showing that your character had a big heart and a will to help. Then to have to woman who helps you discover that part of yourself die, it was a sad thing. The crying Taurens around her make it worse but helps cement in that things aren't all sunshine and rainbows anymore, even for a tribe as life-loving as the Tauren.

Definitely Storm Peaks: the lore, the quests, the fact that it made you seem a little ant in a world of giants. Great dungeons, greatest raid ever! Overall, my favorite area ever... and the soundtrack... oh boy, the soundtrack was brilliant
My favourite zone is Vashj'ir, the waterworld there is amazing, in the deep hiding huge creatures, which you don't want to wake up believe me. The effects, the mobs, the fishes all is so wonderful. Imagine for a underwater battlegrounds-don't you think it will be amazing?
hmmm i can't decide.... i like soooo many of them.... it would be easier to list the ones i don't like... which is why i love wow in general
i like tanaris coz of the desert race :P it remind me of starwars 1 alot when anakin do the pod race thing xD
My favourite zone is definitely Zangarmarsh. I love it because it is very mystic, beautiful and it has that charm which makes me stay there for hours just to take screenshots . I also find the sounds very peaceful and whenever I’m in bad mood I go to Serpent Lake and calm myself. All those places full of giant mushrooms, purple-bluish mist and cute lanterns which light the road makes me think that this is the place just for me. If World of Warcraft was consisted of only one zone I would definitely want this to be Zangarmarsh. Here i wrote a small poem called "Never Bored in Zangarmarsh"Zangarmarsh is the place Where I want to be!Cenarion quests are waiting for me butThe Naga is chasing my pet, Which Sporeggar Quartermaster gave when we met.I tried to fly back to TelredorAnd felt unfortunately in the Coifaing Reservoir. There I was killed by a giant Lagoon Walker!Oh my, he happened to be a big stalker.I respawned my body but he corpse-camped me whole day!Until an Ango’Rosh Ogre came and helped me to run away.He told me he will have a party on a mushroomand wanted me to tidy it with a broom.I was like “NO!” and he said “You be crunched!”Oops It’s time I ran to my house in Orebor Harborage or I will be his lunch. Here I am at home safe, and I think this finishes my day.Going to make a mushroom pieand hopefully I wont get poisoned and die.
My favourite zone has always been Nagrand. The landscape breathes an air of serenity and peace, and it is especially gorgeous in the late afternoon sun. The threat of the Burning Legion was a distant nightmare as you gazed over the fiels where Clefthoofs grazed peacefully and Elekks strode past calmly. When I hit 70 and gained the ability to fly, I would often land on one of the floating islands (ther's one above Halaa that was my favourite) and just admire the environment while chatting with friends in whispers or guild chat. To me, Nagrand - and especially that one floating island - was a place for relaxation, somewhere to go when trade channel was too full of idiots, when some pug had gone bad, when there was too much guild drama going on and I' log to an alt to sit there instead. Nagrand, the Ultimate Meditation Zone for All Your Relaxation Needs.
My favourite zone is Netherstorm. One of my best memories comes from this area. I was leveling to 70, on the second or third day after B.C. went live and had not played the beta.I discovered the area and it struck me. It looked like Star Ocean ! Of course, I couldn't help but put the soundtrack on.Then I explored the area, and the quests there are just the best. The whole storyline leading to Kael'thas' operations is mind blowing. It's an excellent follow up to Warcraft 3's maps involving Kael. Also, since I had spent a very long time awake to reach 70 as fast as I could, my girlfriend kept coming to see how I was doing.Netherstorm brought me a lot of kisses and hugs that day. ;)
My favorite zone is Feralas because it's just so lush, green, rugged and beautiful, with lots of rain, and reminds me of the temperate rainforests of the Pacific Northwest.
I like Stranglethorn Vale, actually liked it even more before the Shattering. It's my favourite zone because most people leveled there (not that many nowadays with the dungeon finder and whatnot) so it was always filled with people.. perfect for low level world pvp :-) Also the level range was huge (30-40+), so it was possible to have fights with people that were higher than you - there's nothing better than the feeling that you have "outplayed" someone, pwned them even if they're higher level than you.
Nagrand is definitely my favourite zone for many reason. Its most beautiful zone there is on my opinion, there is peaceful music in background , it has original Ring of Blood quests and most important Mr. Nessingwary hangs out there. Always loved chilling out in one of those floating islands while waitting for raid or bg.
