Probably Hyjal just for the progression of the level which is cool. I like how you start out somewhere normal, and work your way down the mountain, and as you go down it gets steadlily more destroyed/burnt. The quests revolve around you restoring it back to it's former glory and they are all synced up with each other so it's good XP too. I did every single quest in hyjal; i loved that zone. :D
My favorite zone is Teldrassil. It's where everything started to me 5 years ago. I adore the colors and the music there. I think that, thanks to that zone, I felt in love with elves (blood ones or night ones, who cares, they're so great <3) and even if one day I have to stop WoW, I'll never forget my first impression on this game ^^*Sorry for my broken English, I still learn it at school >< *
i like the eastern plaguelands cause of the Zen'kiki quests, soooo much fun
My Favorite place is Dun Morogh. My main is a dwarf and I just enjoy the snow and the mountains. In real life I live in Hawaii and it's a completely different atmosphere. Blizzard has allowed me to visit a terrain that I may never experience in real life. I do find myself returning there when ever I need a break from the max level stuff. Must remind me of a simpler time at level 1.
My favorite zone is Sholazar Basin because it's forested in the middle of a frosty wasteland (without all the Vrykul of Howling Fjord). Forested regions just seem more interesting to quest in than places that are frozen over, deserts, wastelands, devastated areas, etc.
Silithus has to my favorite area in World of Warcraft. Because its a epic lvl 55 - 60 endgame area, filled with epic quests and 2 epic raids, an area I regret not catching in it's more active state in vanilla (very little vanilla endgame experience, mostly TBC); and its not the same thing to go there now and do the quests 'cause things changed, mechanics, items, talents spell, etc...
Grizzly Hills is my favorite zone for several reasons. First is the hilly landscape, although other zones have this. The most important element, however, that distinguishes this zone from the rest, is the music. The classical violin really helped me enjoy leveling and allowed me to turn off my music that was playing in the background (also classical most of the time).
My favorite zone is probably Duskwood, pre-cataclysm, as it always felt creepier back then, when the quests weren't so linear and the chance of running into Stitches on the way to raven hill kept you on your toes.
My favorite zone would be have to be.. Pre-Cataclysm, The barrens. Why i choose Pre-Cata Barrens, Because it was always fun to run on over and defend Crossroads from the oncoming alliance, aswell as the search for Mankrik's Wife...Poor Poor Mankrik.
Vashj'ir bcause it's a water zone honest to god done right. Which is something not many games accomplish at all ever.
I miss when Dalaran was the center of the world. I could do my dailies, hang out and fish, and buff people in front of the bank while I chatted with my guild. Plus it was pretty. =( Alas, my portals.
Playing as an Orc, Nagrand really feels like home. Hunting Talbuk and Clefthoof, connecting with your ancestors, getting in touch with the elements and of course some pew pew action in Halaa!
