Even though i ve heard many complaints, Vashj'ir is my favorite zone. I love the beauty of the ocean. I love the quest line as well. This was the thing i was looking foreword to. It was entirely new from what we were use to. The Vashj'ir quest brought us to the very bottom of the ocean makes you think whats at the bottom of ours.
My favorite zone has to be Crystalsong Forest. The colors and look of the Unbound Thicket has always reminded me of the zone Sanctuary of Zi'Tah from my days of playing FFXI, my first MMO. So I've always felt a connection to the peaceful, yet beautiful, forest areas in contrast to the hustle and bustle of a major city or hub.
My favorite is Vashj'ir. It gave a new spin on movement, epic quests, even more epic bosses, and a whole lot of water.

my favorite zone is duskwood, it's so creepy & the questlines there are a nice change after westfall,
I remember when I was leveling trough Hellfire Peninsula and was utterly bored by the environment of the entire zone. When i first set foot into the next zone, Zangermarsh, I was amazed by the outlandish environment and how it actually felt like I was on another planet. As I moved on, I encountered the alien creatures inhabiting the zone and I absolutely loved their design as well. The Boglords, the Marshwalkers, the nether rays, etc. All absolutely amazing and wonderful creatures. Next to its incredible design, the quests and lore within the zone were well done. The early quests felt like I was doing some stealth action in order to sabotage the machines utilized by the vicious Naga. and then assassinating their leaders. And that all whilst I discovered what happened to the Draenei that remained on Draenor, now the Broken. So even up until now, Zangarmarsh is by far my most favorite zone and sometimes even go back to it, just to sit on top of the giant mushrooms.
My favorite zone is vashj'ir because I like the 3Dness it has where the quest objectives can be floating in "midair".
Dragonblight. The storylines were so epic!
I'm gonna have to say that Moonglade is my favorite place. Not that i ever go there much but the first time i did go there, it blew my mind! The turquoise colors there made most of the scenery really BOLD yet smooth to look at. I felt like i was in another world when i first stepped through my little druid portal. All the beautiful colors really complement each other and make the zone a very pleasing and tranquil place all together.
Its got to be the barrens because my fondest moments as a noob on wow come from there.
MUST say that Burning Steppes, Besides being graphically Nicely done is the place to be... From the wicked tan to all the mithril you can mine...did approx 600 pcs in 50min... plus star rubys black vitrol etc etc... Now isn`t that the place you want to be? ;-)
The Barrens literally was an explosion of awesomeness, It still is :) , as a Horde player I remember questing there on level 10. (before Cataclysm) ... It was like trolls, players, and just random people decided to just visit it :D. Not to mention The barrens just looks plain awesome :) ... that would be so far my favorite zone! :D And now they even added more landscape to it! Plus the scenery now can be viewed from the sky -- gotta love Azeroth flying mounts :).The barrens is like a low levels uldum to me :) Desert with oasis and just plain awesome. But that's just in my opinion :D.
My favorite zone would have to be Shadowmoon Valley. It really shows how much power and ambition Gul'dan possessed in order to raise a green volcano out of the ground and change the entire zone and the fate of the Orcish race forever. It also was home to one of the best quest chains ever, The Cipher of Damnation,Oh, and its one of the only places where you get to transform into a Fel Orc, the most bad ass looking NPCs in the game!
Orgrimmar, I love the Drag.
My favorite Zone choice would be Uldum. Budd's impromptu escape plan never ceases to amuse me, the Harrison Jones line just feels incredibly fun, and you can have the opportunity to go gnome bowling as a giant fireball of doom.
Mulgore, it was the first zone I ever played in and even though I play alliance it remains a place in my heart.
