Mine has to be Nagrand, i just loved it when i first got there with my Paladin, a Utopia in the middle of that cold, dark and shattered World! (Apart from that Zone in the Netherstorm with all the Trees)
My personal favorite zone would be the Twilight Highlands because of all the action and lore that was put into it.
It would have to be Crystalsong Forest. I remember seeing beta shots of the glowing white and purple fragmented trees and thinking how gorgeous it was. No other zone has felt truly as magical as Crystalsong to me, like a real work of art - which is such a shame, as there was so little to do in the zone.
My favorite would have to be Stranglethorn Vale, The jungle look and its creatures make it sooo fun.
My favourite zone was, is and always shall be Un'Goro Crater. No matter what toon I am levelling, I will go well out of my way to quest here. I just started levelling a Tauren Paladin and I went through here, even at level 61 I am still going back there every day (for the dailies that lead to the Venomhide Raptor mount of course) but if those dailies were anywhere else I probably wouldn't have any interest. With the new quests in Un'Goro too, it just made it even better! The lore is amazing and the quests are sometimes pretty hilarious....A DRAGON!
Favorite Zone: Mage Quarter of Stormwind. Why? Because is so Magic, so beautifull, so peacefull, is the best zone for sleep and chat with your friends, is a hole in the time and space that free your mind of all, no more raids, no more dungeons, no more pvp, no more achievements, just peace.... look! Is a Squirrel! :O
My Favorite is Crystalsong Forest. Even though like 2 quests in there, it's amazing to fly through, running the game on ultra it looks very amazing unless you're really ontop of the trees. Not sure why they put some of their best art in an unused zone!
My favorite zone is easily Mulgore. Being a Tauren, and loving their lore, means I spend as much time as I can there. It's got a beautiful landscape with beautiful hills and mountains in the distance.
I remember walking into Hellfire Peninsula for the first time. I was relatively new to the game and I thought it was just, well, epic. I hate to use a cliche but that is what it felt like!
Elwynn forest. The very first place my warrior started back in '05.
Im a fan of both Plaguelands but specifically Western Plaguelands and its upgrades. I loved fighting the undead around Andorhal and the plague cauldrons in vanilla. It held my favorite dungeon, Scholo, (PITA back in the day). Its recent upgrade truly payed it homage as well. The lower level makes it more accessible and the quests are hilarious (love the druid training chain).
I have always loved Zangarmarsh (weird choice, I know). I just really enjoy the aesthetics of the zone and the lore involving the Sporelings and how we are trying to save their home.
