My favorite tier would be the Deathmantle rogue t5 Deathmantle awesome looking set.

I love the hunter tier 11 set. It looks awesome like I skinned one of the murlocs and put its skin on me.
my favourite set is the paladin t2 set with ragnaros as weapon. As the eye for ragna dropped in my achieverun in MC i decided to farm the set, it took me hours to farm this set together with a friend (he as disci i as retri)
One of my favorite sets was the Tier 5 Mage set, Tirisfal Regalia . Not only was it simple and mysterious looking, it was fitting to the class in appearance and style. I always tend to look at Sets, not from a game mechanic way, but from an In-Azeroth would-they-actually-wear-that-kind-of-stuff-in-battle sort of way. Some of the sets are absolutely ridiculous for battle purposes. Half the time the green "leveling gear" in the new expansion looks to be suffice battle gear. Enormous plated towers, floating spikes, massive skulls and chains hanging from your armour? I mean, it's kind of an oxymoron to say this, but be realistic. Imagine how much that armour weighs and how much it would hinder the fighting capabilities of said person. Some classes might be exempt...Deathknights with them being unstoppable-dead-machines, and maybe Shaman with the ability to let the elements float around them..but come on. Tier 11 Warrior? Looks BADASS, but it's solid stone. A Dwarf might use it, in stone form, but that's just unnecessary weight. /end TangentBack to Tier 5 Mage. Tier 5 Mage looks to be a realistic and plausible set of armor. Decorative yet simple shoulder pads, a deep, secretive cowl for a helm, and a basic robe to finish it off. It really gives the mage a true power-house look, while remaining slightly mysterious. I know I'm looking at it from an In-world perspective, but just from game mechanics, it looks pretty badass too. One of those 'simple' sets that Blizzard excelled on (They tend to make great sets all the time, but it's the simple ones that look the best). Another reason I like it is because it is the only set (in my opinion) that fits with the ever rare Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian. The staff of the Guardian, and the Tirisfal set are somewhat connected lore wise and Blizzard did an excellent job at making them match (even if one item was from Original Wow, and the other from BC)I think pretty much every set has something really cool about it, but it's the 'realistic' and simple sets that look amazing that truly grab my attention.
Mage Tier 11! Gotta love that devilish helm.
Favorite one has to be "Lieutenant Commander's Pursuit" First PvP set i got.Got it also under my first year in wow and when i was Alliance (before i turned horde, bad boy coming through!) It just looks so epic and amazing! Perfectly done for hunters, and it took such a long time to get it.Also remember when i first got all the pieces i felt so OP and queued for bg's all the time, even though i sucked at it haha!It just that THAT set just made me cry because it's just so GOOD LOOKING! i <3 green.
I would have to say hunter T2. I liked to kill dragons for dragon-esq armor.
My Favorite Tier piece is gotta go to the Feral T6. back in the days of BT and Sunwell I used to raid as a tank it felt great working my way through some hard content that hasn't been reduced down for 70s.I still have my full 8 piece set It looks FANTASTIC the two set bonus is really nice the 4 set could have seen better days but I love my T6.
thats gotta be prot warrior tier 5 gear,, it looks way to damn badass
Definitely the Paladin Tier 2. It looks so ominous for a holy warrior. As though the one wearing it were your executioner. Not the typical bright paladin colors, but dark. And it contradicts itself by looking like cloth yet being plate.
My favourite tier is the warrior's tier 7 . It may be a copy of T3 but I like it more. I enjoyed taking screenshots of my warrior in different zones and it was just amazing how easily it blended in ( especially in Moonglade ) . I also like T7 because it was the first set I collected. I still remember my epic 95 roll on the helmet from Kel'Thuzad.
