Warrior T8.. IT IZ AWWWWWSOME :D

The classic Netherwind set (for mages). Not just because of the looks (which are still incredible imo), but mostly because of the excellent 8-set bonus. I remember the mage on our realm who got it first, and instant fireballs were (unless you had the Presence of Mind talent) something from another world.
Warrior T3 is definitely my all-time favorite, due to how it looks.
Druid T2, Stormrage Raiment, was one of my most favorite of all time. I liked the raids required to get it, and c'mon, epic antlers! I also really liked the somewhat understated (no crazy special effects) shoulders on this set. I wish they'd incorporate the look back into higher tiers (or add the oft-spoken-of appearance slots ;))
I have to say that the T2 Judgement for paladins is by far the best looking set made, as it was detailed to the last bit. The shoulder was a nice touch to the set, with the sword on it, and the Libra on the site. Personally the Libra is what I like most about the set, because it resembles the balance between two things. An example could be good and evil. The whole set has this magnificent unique look to it, and it really gave a paladin the feeling of bringing judgement upon others. I really liked the colours the set, especially the yellow colour which relates to the mind and intellect. I really got impressed first time I saw it, because when I looked at a paladin I saw them as someone who was wise and knowledgeable, that is why the colours fit perfectly.
Warlocks get all of the best looking armor sets, but since I've played a paladin most of my game-time I'll have to say either paladin t2 (Judgment Armor) or t8 (Conqueror's Aegis Plate). Paladins need to get more armor sets with skirts.
There's nothing better than the priest's T2, Vestments of Transcendence (Vestments of Transcendence)get Benediction (Benediction) too, and you are set, nothing else needed for an epic priestess!ahh the memories...
My favorite Tier set is probably Tier 2 for Rogues. It's still one the best looking sets in the game, IMO, and one of the reasons I chose to play a Rogue in Classic. Overall, I think Rogues have the best looking Tier sets in the game.(Now I play a Paladin and the Tier 2 set for them is probably my favorite for that class; I like the faceless mask-hood and swords strapped to the shoulder armor.)
I will always be partial to Warrior T1 since that was when I first started raiding at all and started getting pieces... Of course, getting a 40 man grp together for MC was always a PITA...
Without a doubt, I always judge any and every armor set based on it's looks first. Why? Because when being created by the artists and developers, every set has the potential to have great stats. Or more accurately, all armor made with great stats has the potential to look awesome when it is being created. The best sets in my opinion are:t4 mage, warriort5 lock, shammyt6 pally, priestt7 priest, shammyt8 priest, rogue, shammyt9 mage/priest/lockt10 pally, shammy, lockt11 priest, maget12 pally (from what we've seen so far)I know that's a lot but it's hard to narrow it down. If I had to pick one or two though, it would be pally t10 or priest t11. They are just gorgeous sets with some amazing creativity put into them (especially the priest shoulders/head). Overall whole tier would be a tough call for me between t10 and t11. They both have a lot of amazing artwork and effort put into them which is obvious just by looking at them.
