Mage T7 (Frostfire Garb). The shoulders are glowy without being too overbearing, the helm is pretty cool, and the patterning on the robe and gloves is exquisite. But that's not the reason I loved that set. 80 Naxxramas was the only tier of WoW I ever raided, and my mage was my only level 80. I've been somewhat intermittent with my play time, and have lost access to the old account, I was in a pretty casual guild and couldn't make their standard raid time, so I pugged, I'd dive into VoA runs, fill in for missing DPS on Naxx wings, and snag occasional Sarth 0D runs - my gear wasn't up to much more. And despite clearing both VoAs religiously each week, I ended my subscription (for other reasons) just before Ulduar came out without having recieved a single piece of the tier set. I saw the piece drop a couple of times, but every time, I'd lose the roll. I actually had the PvP 2set, because Rawr kept telling me that the PvP gear was better itemised for Frostfire Bolt specs than my Tailoring craftables. As a matter of fact, I'm just about to roll a mage who I hope, one day, might wear some part of that set. Just so that one day, I can have my tier 7.
Priest Tier Five. There's something on that set that instantly shows "PRIEST!", especially when completed by the Staff of Immaculate Recovery, aka "Priest-on-a-stick". The helm was just gorgeous, and Shadowform made it look 10 times more awsome.
Warlock T5 for me too, that wing effect is the best.
Hi there.I like tier 10 priest, simply because of the look.
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
I thought that the Gronnstalker gear was the better looking of the sets. That eyeball, lookin' all crazy at you.
Mage tier 5, the tirisfal set, to me reflected the essence of being a mage, it was simple but stylish and the coloration was simply beautiful, with hints of shiny materials on the edges. I think what I like the most about it though was the story that accompanies it; the Council of Tirisfal and the story of Medivh and Karazhan. Afterward it was druid tier 5, for the blooming flowers on the shoulders and the link between the tier and the Mt Hyjal raid.
There are two sets i like really much, and its hard to choose between them if you aren't looking at the stats, so i'll just say a little about both.1. Warbringer battlegear, the looks, oh the looks of that set.... Helmet was akin to the Tier 3 Hunter raiding set helmet (which i like very much), and the orc's massive shoulders :X very very nice. Stats were balanced, you had AGILITY as a warrior, not a very important stat, true... but it was there; the dungeons you had to go to to get the gear were nice aswell.2. Warbringer battlegear. Its a Draenei, no its a Orc... no... ITS THE FRAKIN' DEVIL RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! yes, i very much like being a green devil while it lasted, were good times, stats again nicely balanced. Remember a time when then item level didn't count at all, when you really worked to get some items, especially the pvp gear.. a time when WoW still had a soul. World of Warcraft is too easy nowadays, stats are exagerated (having 156k health, 476538647583 - 7263472634762 damage) but maybe its just me and this thread isn't meant to discuss this subject. :P
Cataclysm Regalia for me. Reason i like it is, the design. Would be nice to see it in other classes like mages/locks too. :D
To it's me Warior T6 Onslaught Battlegear was the best one, looking at a Protection Warrior along with Illidan Bulwark of Azzinoth you imediatly think now that is a TANK, it just looks like your character is and armored war TANK, it just scream awesome, I remember as soon I saw it was like gief /drooling and I eventually got the full set and I still like to wear it once in a while.Anyway that is my favourite, due to meaning it made for me as Protection Warrior.
my favorit set is t3.why?it has the best style on most classes + was the hardest to get.before 70 ;-) since bc it was freeloot.now its not longer availbel <3(sorry for the bad english,my german is better ^^)
There are a lot of great tier sets out there, but to me the early sets looked in general better. My all time favorite is the tier 1 druid set. Cenarion RaimentWith the green leave shoulders it just screams druid, defender of nature, tranquility and the whole druid chabang.Runner up would be the Tier 2 shaman set. Ten Storms.First time I saw that ligtning spill across those wolf head shoulders I went 'dude I want to play shaman !'
Have to go with hunter t12 because flamewakers are cool.
Warrior Tier 6. Onslaught Battlegear. It's obvious. Massive Shoulders and a sinister Helm. And it's not related to any kind of elemental.
I loved the warriors T6, to me it always screamed "Hey look at me, I'm a badass".
