Ahh, What a hard choice. I'd have to say it's a three way tie between Rogue T2, Hunter T6, and Priest Tier 6. Who doesn't like looking like a shadowy assassin? Even the recolor is awesome! And that Hunter tier is pretty eye-catching, if you catch my meaning.. ;)But the Priest tier.. It might just take the cake on detail. I have to say I don't think any of the newer tiers have really been able to rival those. I'm a tad disappointed in the T12. However, druid T11 comes in with a close second to those three.
Judgement set for paladins was hands down the best tier, not only for paladins but in the game so far. The helmet has made me want a set and regret not playing vanillla for it!
Shaman Tier 6. It made shaman look like they really could harness the powers of the elements, especially lightning! But All of Tier 6 in general is the best in my opinion with the 8 pieces which allowed for more gear flexibility and specialization was the best tier... And the best graphics too!
I must say its hard for me to pick any tier set to be my favorite! But in the end I must conclude that warlock tier 8 was simple the coolest. The details on that are amazing and it reminds me of my days with guildwars before I started playing wow. Overall the perfect tier set, but unfortuneately I could not use it in pvp since it made me rather squishy! :D
my favorite is http://www.wowhead.com/itemset=-72#screenshots:id=135475 because its look too strong ;) wave from czech rep. !

Tier 1. MC was EPIC @ 60
There are a lot that would be worth mentioning but in the end I'd have to say the Warlock Tier 5 - the Corruptor set. At the time it was the best looking set (to me) and best represented how a Warlock should look both by the model and color. It was always good fun running around dot'ing everything in sight looking like that. Of course this look will always be immortalized by Nyhm, but hey.
I'm personally tied between warlock T6 (yay big ole dragon wings!) and the paladin T10 for the helm and dress combo. For some reason plate skirts always seem nice, even if people constantly complain about it.
Druid t-1 gear, it's really the only set of gear that seems to fit what druids are/believe in plus, insta-camouflage /ninja
I'm going to break the mold with this one but by far my favorite tier has to be Rogue Dungeon Tier 2. Not only was the quest chain to get it tedious, but also rewarding. The feeling of upgrading your Shadowcraft to a different armor was very satisfying after putting in all those hours into traveling and grinding through dungeons. The detail that went into making this set makes it one of the sickest sets out there. Solid black armor with blue highlights was a perfect combination for this set. It also helped define rogue gear with it's masked hood and tight fitting armor. None of that flashy armor that we have now can match the 'cool' factor that comes with this set. The fact that you can no longer get it makes it that much more appealing! I still get whispers while standing in Durotar to this day," Where do you get that!" and "Wow sick gear man".My rogue wearing the full set - h t t p://img191.imageshack.us/img191/9734/contestwinner.jpg (cant post links yet)
As a paladin, I've always been a big fan of our Tier 2 Judgement armor, just seems so epic and almost inquisition inspired. I also like the Tier 5 priest set, the Avatar Regalia. It has a very archangel look to it, espeiually with the matching staff :-)
Warrior T4, entirely because the helm made me look and feel bad-ass. Splinter Cell, anyone?
I think the Shamans tier 5 set was the best. I really liked the molten color scheme and I also liked the design in general. It had a great armor pattern that looked really cool, and the tier5 weapons for it, the two fists, really complete it. This is by far one of the best looking sets
I liked the T8 Rogue set the best because of the big face on the helm :)
Elemental Shaman Tier 6.Not only did it have amazing set bonuses (especially the two piece.... that was killer), but it looked absolutely gorgeous without being excessive with crazy shoulders or wings or special effects. The awesome blue color, with the blue glows... It was extremely distinctive. This is how a set should look.
I loved Tier 4, since I'm a huge fan of the color red and the whole blood-elven look to it. Too bad I never finished it. :(
For me it's the Nordrassil Harness (Druid T5). The sprouting flowers on the shoulders were a really beautiful and subtle visual effect. Everytime I logged in I spent a few seconds staring at them. They'd simply pop out, waited a few secs and dissapeared.
