I was shocked the first time I saw the tier 3 hunter set as I think it was before its time. I say tier 3 instead of tier 7 from WotLK because first of all, the old colors looks the best but also because the old set had 8 items that actually matched each other. In WotLK I still felt awesome wearing that set (even though it was far too easy to obtain) because of the looks. The dark theme, the creepy four eyes and the wonderful big spaulders really showed what was going to be the future of WoW sets.
My favourite Tier set in World of Warcraft is Paladin Tier 6 Lightbringer because in my opinion it is the most Epic set in WoW history. Even Tirion Fordring himself weared it before the Assault on Icecrown Citadel. Even if i don't play as paladin since Wrath of the Lich King, i still consider best Tier set from game to be Tier 6 Paladin.
For me it would have to be the Paladin's Judgement Armor, because I love the idea of paladins tanking in what looks like cloth. Also, most of the paladin armour that came afterwards felt like it belonged in Starcraft, not WoW.
Have to say Warlord's Raiment.I watched a youtube video with what I thought was the most epic pvp skills ever, a Shadow Priest pulling tricks owning ppl 1-on-many, mind controlling, drowning people, jumping off cliffs... So, the way this set looks on a linking male undead brings me back to 2006 when I started playing, my Undead looked so ugly with his green lowbie gear, but I kept watching that youtube video and told myself that "I will look so frickin' awesome later!";-)
My favorite is the Priest Tier 2 Raid set. I like the coloring and it doesn't look too godly. It may be just me but I like armor that doesn't look like it takes hours to put on.
Hmm Lawbringer Armor awesome set + Ashbringer perfect sword u have perfect kills ;)
My favorite item set has to be the warriors Arena 5 set. Sure it might be as bland as can be but the nostalgia it brings back of my first PvP tournament just can't be replaced by any other set. Ah, the memories.
1, because I like oldschool.
I actually like the latest hunter gear (Tier 11 Raid Set) , I mean once upon a time, you had to kill those blasted little murlocs and they kept showing up! But not any more, now, now you wear it as a triumphant symbol to all the other troggs of Azeroth that you are not one to be taken lightly! But all in all, this one I think is the best.
i would have to say my favorite tier would be druid tier 2 it just looks so awesome and funny at the same time
My favorite is Conqueror's Turalyon's Garb because my dwarf pally actually had some (or similar looking.) I love the blue + gold & glow color scheme!
Thunderheart Raiment Tier 6 set for Restoration Druids. I was still new to the game and I knew Druids were "different" so to speak, but this tier set really set them apart! Not just because of it's First American styling, but the fact that as a Night Elf I was walking around looking like a Tauren! This pushed me to start investigating and learning about the History of the Ancients and the First Druids - Cenarius, and his students Malfurion and Illidan. From then on I was pretty much hooked on any and all Lore. The Epic stories imparted a depth to the world, quests and battles that I could never have enjoyed if it weren't for the Druid T6 set. Maybe it would have happened eventually... However, the path I found was custom made for a Night Elf Druid and I will never forget the years I spent in Azeroth or the reasons I stayed so long.... And I still have the Gear.Someday when we all take our Grandchildren to the World of Warcraft Museum, I'll be able to log-in one last time and walk around as my Druid and see Azeroth in it's final glory while explaining to my grand kids the stories I learned along the way. How two level 70 Horde toons griefed my "Sleeper has Awoken" quest for 2 hours. Then we can go kill Hogger and taunt the lowbies way down at Crossroads. Dressed in Thunderheart gear, my grand-kids will know exactly how much of a bad-ass I was when every official in every town seems to know my name. However this is just the Burning Crusade, and we have a week to tour through all the expansions and Papa has lot more gear to show off. I will slowly turn, and my loving Wife will lead the grandkids away to give an old Druid some privacy with what may be his final time with some beloved T6 pixels. Quietly, so that I may go unheard, whispering through the tears I cannot contain -- Enshu falah nah, Shan’do.
