I absolutely loved the Bloodfang armor, especially on a dwarf rogue with Perd and CHT. I originally played a holy paladin in vanilla and I got quite a few of my co-workers to play and one of them rolled a dwarf rogue. Well eventually he decided to quit playing WoW and gave the account to me to play and I was having a blast messing around on his rogue! It was like a whole new game, well it turns out he ended up having more free time in college than he thought he would so he asked me for the account back. This made me extremely sad so I decided to roll a rogue myself and powerleveled my new dwarf rogue and got him to 60 about two months before BC came out, I was unfortunately never able to get bloodfang on him and my guild told me I wasn't allowed to switch classes. I didn't enjoy playing my paladin any longer now that I had been opened to the world of DPS so I parted ways with my guild and went in to BC as a rogue with very little raiding experience so I had to prove that I could do it and prove it I sure did! I topped damage in my new guild and destroyed rogues with better gear. After all that to this day I still play my rogue and I was able to get the ORIGINAL Bloodfang hood from Onyxia before she was updated and I have my bloodfang pants from Molten Core. I am still trying to find a weekly group to run BWL so I can complete the best looking set in the game. (I have Perd and CHT AND was lucky enough to get a TF so I just need a CTS for swords)TL;DR I love the Bloodfang Armor with a passion.
For me Mage Tier 3 would have to be my favorite. That blue was just stunning, and I loved the general feel of the set. Set design in Vanilla was some of the best in my opinion. I also liked shaman heroic-T10(minus the helmet), again, the feel of the set was very true to the class and content we were clearing.
I'm still working my way through original content and TBC content so I can't comment exactly on my favorite tier set just yet. Awesome contest though!
Death Knight Tier 10 no doubt, It was the best good looking set in World of Warcraft of all time.
Without a doubt, my favorite tier of gear was Paladin's T2. The Judgement set really epitomizes the Paladin "look", and even makes dresses epic. No complaints about this tier set.
Priest T6 and Shaman T6 > all :)
By far, the Lightbringer set, or Paladin tier 6, for me it represents everything about being a paladin, the purity of heart, faith and righteousness but also the more combative side of a champion of the light, with its gourgeus details in gold and blue it really shows that the person wearing it is something else, with a great sense of duty towards his/her people and with the skills to do it.Finally I think having a paladin charging first into battle with the lightbringer set not only shows leadership and inspire confidence to his/her fellow soldiers but it would also make the enemy feel the terror of defying the holy light, just like the paladin that inspired the name, the original Uther the Lightbringer did with his fellow brothers from the Silver Hand so many years ago agains the orcish horde.
My favorite set was the updated, improved and recolored Mage T7 25 man version: Valorous Frostfire GarbI remember when I started out playing wow a few months before TBC was released and grouped with a friend and people from his guild. The Mage was wearing the T3 set (think it was just 4 pieces) and destroying everything. My friend told me later I was actually being tested for my skills as a healer to keep the Mage alive. Ever since that encounter I have loved the look of that set.And when I found out that Wrath was going to have them recolored and available again I was beyond excited. So beyond that I leveled up a Mage specifically for Wrath and getting that set.I still have it in my Mage's bank!
my ultimate favorite tier set would have to be the 8 piece tier 6 Lightbringer Armor, only because it is the best looking gear for a paladin.and you can look like Tirion Fordring :P
My favorite tier would have to be Priest Tier 5 (Avatar Raiment) the Avatar Raiment set. I love the white/black colors playing off eachother for holy priests, accentuated by the gold uhhg, makes me wish I had been playing my priest during The Burning Crusade. I love the halo graphic on the head piece, and the golden wings, bringing the 'holy' look to the holy priest. Shame I was still on my fail rogue at that time.
I like the T11 Druid armor set mostly becouse the shoulders are so cool
