One of my favorite set's is: Gronnstalker's Armor (Hunter T6). The set just say's: "I got you in my sight!"
I would have to put the Absolution Regalia, Tier 6 priest set from Black Temple/Hyjal. I am not counting the Sunwell pieces, because they have a different look. At the time it was one of the best looking sets in the game besides Tier 2 Rogue Bloodfang set and Tier 3 Vestments of Faith (awesome 9 piece set). In addition at that particular time it had one of the better set bonuses for shadowpriests and was general itemized really well. More so, the looks were just amazing for the Absolution set. Human female or Blood Elf female it was simple awesome to look at.
Back when it was first launched I craved for it. Unfortunatelly, by the time I had geared up and learned to play decently enough, the superiority given by it was long gone. To this day, however, I still regard the Paladin T2 (Judgment Armor) as the most beautifull set of armor World of Warcraft displays, and here's why:First and foremost, this is from a tank's perspective, since I always played that way.No other armor mixes the idea of a holy man, a.k.a. priest, and a juggernaut so well as the armor + legs / helmet combination of T2. The helmet, coming with a hood, depicting a robe, but inside you see the face of a soldier, almost inside a helmet. The armor and legs, completely adorned with holy symbols and clear iron layers, depicts like nothing else the exact composition of a Zealot. The gloves and the pair of boots - so shy and simple, yet so important. Coming with a layer of golden scales and shy wings, the gloves compliment the fact that a paladin fights for the freedom of his people, ready to destroy preys as an eagle ready to dive for a kill. And the boots, layered with scales on the tips of it, showing the steadyness of the holy man's stance. And how could I ever forget to mention the shoulderpads. The clear image of a book covered with a weapon. A bible and a dagger. The pen and the sword. The clear idea of a reason behind the strength to hold arms. Besides, if I don't manage to block your strike, you better be carefull or you'll get pinned on them.Cheers.
My favorite Tier is the hunter's T6 due to the awsome Gronnstalker's Spaulders Gronnstalke'r Spaulders I mean dude, they blink and look around nothings better.
As a hunter, I really love the 25 man version of T8 (Conqueror's Scourgestalker Battlegear). Main reason why: It just looks pretty amazing along with the other class tiers from Ulduar. All the gear is currently in my bank with other Ulduar hard mode drops!
Tier 1 for me, because it was the most fun to farm for.
My favorite tier set is the warlock tier8, Deathbringer. I fell in love seeing it in the Wrath Gate cinematic. I have been an undead warlock 6 years, and that is the first real tier set I've seen that almost appears to be made to be worn by Undead. No other set, no matter what class, looks as well on this single race than that plaguedoctor look. And with it come the memories of me trying to get that one last part in Ulduar, the shoulderpads from yogg-saron in 25-man mode, just to finish the look. It was one of few happy memories of WotLK I have.
My favorite set is paladin t6. I just like how shiny it is, and it really goes with the ashbringer when tirion was using it :P
Probably t9 for sentimental reasons. That was when I started to really play, so it'll always be special for me.
Mage T10! I love the Sanctified Bloodmage's Regalia, that helmet is just epic! I mean who doesn't want huge teeth!
I like the Conqueror's Battlegear (warrior) mainly because of the AQ raids you have to do to get it, AQ is fun, its enjoyable to see how wow was played b4 I got into the game. Its a shame I haven't gotten the set yet.
I loved the warlock t10, especially the red version.
My favorite tier set would have to be the Paladin Tier 6 (Lightbringer). It's a perfect representation of a paladin. The colors used (gold, blue, and silver) can represent the attributes of a paladin in lore: strength, goodness, and justice. Even one of the most notorious paladins in World of Warcraft lore, Tirion Fordring, dons this armor set, so it's obviously awesome!
I still love my paladin t9 the best. Absolutely awesome design, and the hat was ballin.
I'd have to say..my favorite tier set was Tier 6 for the Paladin class. It looked awesome on those fairy blood elves ;)
