Balance
Insect Swarm now generates 8 Lunar Energy for druids with Eclipse.
Moonfire now generates 8 Solar Power for druids with Eclipse.
Sunfire now generates 8 Lunar Energy for druids with Eclipse.
Before anyone freaks out about this this is most likely on application only. It will help single target damage and our ability to do our "Solar Shenanigans". While, I enjoy the skill involved in planning out a balance rotation for each fight and where to delay or roll through an eclipse it did get more then a little out of hand where I was having more then 70% up time on a single eclipse as opposed to the avg 29-30%.

Hurts balance spec in PvP doesn't it? You can't move into Solar and DoT up the entire bg anymore.
And won't it also hurt fairly severely on add fights?
Edit: Or am I misreading this badly and it will do exactly the opposite of what I'm understanding from it?

It will hurt AoE dps, while keeping single target probably roughly the same (you cast one less nuke per eclipse, but get to the next eclipse faster). Seriously disappointed about the change to Innervate though. Makes feral Innervate... well, not really any more useful than it is now, and makes a balance innervate on a healer much more useless.
Quick calculation on the innervate changes: Raid buffed in my bear gear I'd have 26150 mana, 20% of that is 5230, which is what someone would be getting from feral innervate right now. In order to surpass that with the new Innervate, your target would have to have 104600+ mana. Basically, it really seems to me that they only want druids innervating themselves, which just feels... wrong. Giving out peanuts for mana, while better than nothing, still isn't very far from nothing.

Think of it more like making druids less "required" for progression raids while undergeared. No one wants to fill a spot because Jimmy the Pally has no freaking clue how to mana mange.Before anyone freaks out about this this is most likely on application only. It will help single target damage and

Fixed. Single target may not benefit as much as originally thought though as each double dot cast effectively causes us to lose a eclipsed nuke. I'll wait on the numbers to see but this "boost" seems like a nerf instead, but 4.2 is a ways off so nothing is solid and everything is subject to change.

The Innervate nerf seems to be targetted at the trick with two resto druids innervating each other for 30% mana. It is now always better to just innervate yourself instead of the trade-trick.

Druids now gain 1 attack power per point of Strength, down from 2. They continue to gain 2 attack power per point of Agility while in Cat Form or Bear Form.
My fellow guildy feral tank is so screwed, he uses a strength neck and ring xD

My thoughts exactly, I did that trick myself with another tree on Al'akir.

Glyph of Innervate now causes the druid to gain 10% Agility for 10 seconds when Innervate is used on a friendly target, in addition to Innervate's base effect.
Now I'll use it.

Balance druid rotation still feels really clunky and the changes to IS, MF and SF don't help any. It's really just a PvP nerf.

I know it'll be a nerf, that's quite obvious seeing as there's only a mastery alternative. But I was drawing attention to his point of being "close to lowest single target dps in the game". I mean, weren't you the one that bashed CrimeFridge for saying the exact same thing? (actually saying it's piss-poor is slightly worse, but still).
Anyways, I'm gonna look in my crystal ball here and predict an agi glove enchant being added to make up for it. I dunno, just guessing obviously ...

Oh snap how could i miss that! The str nerf is a sneaky nerf to the glove enchant which is an even more sneaky nerf to our insane AoE!

? That three-point talent will now be worthless. No more parking in Solar Eclipse through heroics. This would be a class-changing modification for those who play the arguably sub-optimal eclipse-parking mode. Stop fiddling Blizz. We like it the way it is.
I really don't think you have a grasp of the current Balance rotation... and "eclipse-parking", as you put it, is producing HIGHER numbers then they want us to which is the source of this change...

Not really, with out a massive clarification this change, or at least the essence of the change, can be seen as a huge buff for Balance or a loss depending on interpretation..
PTR = Public TEST Realm. They are TESTING. Untwist your underwear selection of the day and calm down, this patch is not coming out soon and
NOTHING IS SET IN STONE
... QQ is not wanted, but constructive thoughts are very much welcome. GTFO if all you want to do is QQ..
