It happens to me every single day. Whether I'm doing dungeons, quests or dailies, it happens. Often. Like, with every other person I run in to. I'm of course referring to people who don't loot.
I notice this because I have skinning. So when someone doesn't loot, I can't skin. That bothered me to start with, but I got over it. Now I'm more curious than annoyed. Why don't they loot? Sure, the cash amount that drop is low, especially when you're sharing it with 4 others, but the greys sell quite well. And since most of it stack and only a few different items drop in each zone, it doesn't take up much bagspace either.
In short: I don't get it. During dailies and a single dungeon and can sell for 50-60g of greys, more than enough to cover repairs, even if we wipe. And even if it didn't cover the repairs, every little bit helps. So why the hell don't people loot?

Hurry hurry hurry, go go go, finish it fast, don't loot, who care.
Your standard pugger mind set.

I don't know, tbh. I always loot everything I have and then sell it, more cash. I had a friend that refused to loot it because it wasn't straight up cash, but he would never tell me exactly why.

Oh and there are people who don't loot beast mobs because they are arse hats and like to mock skinners.

While it may not matter much in a single heroic, it will pile up to a considerable amount if you do a good amount of dailies and heroics each day.
I for one have no idea why this seems like a good idea to anyone, people can't be
that
lazy...
Right?

Bagspace, you might have plenty but as an example on my pally I'm carrying my prot/holy set depending on wich specc I'm in, inscription and enchanting materials, flasks & foods, various junk like hearthstone, picolo of the flaming fire, the troll thing,...
So between all that I only have around 10 bagspaces left and you'd be amazed how fast those fill up with random items and I don't want to have to bother checking what to destroy when smth I need drops or even when I'm full and I want to loot cloths for my priest so I just loot the money and cloths (to send to my priest) and leave the rest on the mob, once I have looted it the skinner can loot the rest off it though.
I don't get that. I collect all sorts of weird things. I had 26 tabards, full tanking, DPS and PVP gear for my Death Knight, plus various gems and bars for jewelcrafting and blacksmithing and have tonnes of space left. 7 bank slots aren't really that expensive and I had them filled with Frostweave Bags before I hit level 80.
Walking around with everything in your inventory is of course your choice, but I'd rather use my bank for that.

Heck, I carry all my junk on me (Iron Boot Flask, hearthstone etc) my tank set, my seven stacks on Noggenfogger and all my other stuff and still have at least two full bags open.

I don't get why it bothers you. If it wasn't your kill don't worry about it's loot.

Like I said, I'm a skinner. He doesn't loot, I can't skin. And, like I also said, I'm more curious by now, than worried/annoyed.

And like I said, it's not your kill, not your loot, therefore not your skin. Do you go around handing herbers or miners nodes for them?

Skinning and herb/mining are completely different.

Never understood it myself either, just seems incredibly lazy to me. I understand full bags; I also carry 2 sets of gear and a toolbox, plus 2 bags of various potions, gadgets gizmos and similar things. Somehow, I always have room to loot stuff too. All I do is repair and sell junk regularly.
What gets me even more are those who roll on boss drops then don't bother to loot them. Last night, for example, I did a random SFK and on the last boss, people just did the usual "hit disenchant then leave the group 0.2 seconds later", so the blue items got turned into shards and just sat there to rot on the corpse. Fair enough, you win it it's yours, but if you don't even want it why would you bother rolling in the first place?
P.S. Something dodgy going on with the site? I just had to do a password recovery on my password that I've been using for the last 2-3 years because Wowhead suddenly decided it wasn't right any more.

Miners/Flower Pickers don't have to kill something before they're able to collect the goods...Well, except for Rock giants, Bog/elemental mobs and the like heh.

Level up skinning and come back to tell us you still feel the same way.
