Punk and hardcore punk sound
nothing
alike. A drunk or non-initiated person wouldn't be able to tell the difference between your average techno song and house though. Just my opinion of course.
Also, disco songs are usually just techno remixes of rock or pop songs.
my god!
Rock and Pop songs are basically just remixes of Jazz/Blues songs

Rock and metal for me. Basically I'm into classic rock and metal, and some recent stuff. I'll listen to almost any prog rock, no matter what time period it's from - anything from Rush to Opeth is quality to me.

What if we're picky about the term 'Classical'? :P
Yeah, where is my Romantic and Medieval music options, dammit!
Everyone clumps everything pre-1900 under Classical :P

I had to go for everything apart from Hardcore Punk and Techno/Trance. I listen to and enjoy a rather wide variety of music :P
