And, frankly, there's not much they can do to counter something that's been training for the last long time to kill them. Then what is the #$%^ing point of fighting a nigh invincible killing machine. The last few pages have just been the heroes wiping up the floor with the bad guys, no damage to anyone but Hyper's Vald, and everyone just walked through smelling of roses. I'm sorry if you think that they 'need' to die at the moment, but I don't; there's still things I want to do with the pair of them.
And I've yet to see you take any damage either Funden, so don't just stick it on me. Xadmas has been hurt fighting others, and Seeker has yet to seriously go up against anyone in this RP....because that's not how it fights; so of course it hasn't been injured.
So whatever; fairly obvious you want to kill one of them and when you do, the other will bring him back.

Note: Both characters are over-powered.
^This, so much this...
Also Adams; Locronos and the false drakes got banged up good, and Tetra appears to be in sleep mode.

I won't deny it, but Joxans is also a major villain so kind of has to be if he wants to survive and actually pose a threat.

Agree there; lately, no matter what the RP is, the villains just get rolfstomped by the heroes without taking any heavy hits of their own.

Being that I do that myself? I'm in no position to argue against it.... *grumble*
And I'm still a little curious about what side Tetra, and by proxy Logan, are on.... Joxans was all like "Pffft, dawg, you think I care about Tetra? Puh-leeze!"

I am not going to argue with this. I do not see how Joxans is any less
or
more powerful than the Warder, even though their strength lies in completely different areas.
And, despite all the Warder's strength, he has literally no way of forcing Joxans into a direct confrontation - last time it happened, he got frozen and could not lift a finger.

I've been trying, that's why its taken almost five hundred pages for Joxans to actually stand openly against the heroes effectively and on his own two feet.

I'd like to know where it came from; most of the earlier RP's had both villain and hero wins in them, with both sides taking heavy damage and losses.

Possibly.

I would say it is mostly unique to Makorr... because of the style of Makorr itself...
I feel the problem comes from villians somehow magically getting these huge super-OP armies or some crap, or ending up like Silvia... who isn't really a threat at all. So, the heroes either end up OP to match the villians, because the villians have some huge plan for destroying everything everywhere, or they don't care about the puny little villian-in-a-half-dress...

Well when the villains are Heartless and Nobodies, of course their purpose is to destroy everything...that's what they do after all.
Edit: Hey Undead, should be able to update your premium to get it working again.

And it is such a big threat, and an immediate one, that the heroes need to stop it right then and there, or everything is ruined and the RP is suddenly over.
I remember having it explained to me like this when I asked why TV shows and Books never let the bad guy win. The best response I got was "Media had unrealalistic villians with insane goals that are simply ALWAYS such a huge threat that even letting them win once ends everything. So the heroes ALWAYS win."

Eh, I don't know about that; a win here or there for the villains isn't that bad: Kali had her wins during A20L but she eventually fell...hell at the end of the RP she was torn in half by Garos and forced to spend months rebuilding her body.
I don't buy that.
See Halo: Reach. Not only is it a prequel, but it's a doomed prequel, and they still tell a very satisfying story. The last mission, Lone Wolf is probably the single most epic one there.
You die.
Or Crisis Core.
