The time table of age of consent for marriage being 18 (16 for marriage and such in some regions) was created as women, while able to give birth often from age fourteen, lead to complications later in life in which made it highly unlikely they could become pregnant once more if they gave birth at such a young age.
As such, since women were in many more historical cases considered property or at least the means of cementing a union of families through heirs, it was considered disadvantageous for her to be able to only produce one child considering infant mortality rates. At the same time maturity wise people at age fourteen and below rarely think of their future with any sort of clear planning so such relationships are frowned upon as one side being the obvious superior.
Just my two cents.

Bugger off troll!
So much for 'circumstantial', duh.
On a more serious note, gotta agree with Light there.
It can't Atik, you just have to go by heart.

I blame off-topic discussions. They have me all worked up over sh*t...
Still doesn't make sense to me. I know plenty of people more mature than those who would consider them "children."

It's a balance between mind and body. There will always be complications by either one or the other eventually.

You can't barge in with logic everywhere Atik, it doesn't always work.

Shoulda seen how shocked everyone got when I admitted to never masterbating because I found it disgusting.

Doug, please be careful this time with your dodges and all those things. I'd really hate to see another flamewar.
And I think I will just skip myself to Goldshire to get something done within the week

We have a creative group project to do here in Germany.
We're making a drinking anthem out of one of Bon Jovi old songs. Can it get any more ridiculous?

Short answer, yes it can. Long answer: let's not go there

Speaking of that, I finished KH2 last night at about 12:30. Then I went to bed, realized I forgot my mp3 player and was slightly too wired to go to sleep, which means I stayed up to think. Which means my nightly depression cycle hit me in full force, which means I didn't fall asleep until like 4 and woke up at 7:30.
And, unlike some people that can do that all day, I require lots of sleep, so if my RP'ing is off today, that's why.
