Poll: Favorite lore villain

Alright, so I'm flexing my new poll creating skills. This is simple. Who is your favorite Warcraft villain and why? Obviously this is based on lore, so provide reasons as to why they are your favorite.
I know the list is kind of eclectic, but that's just how it came out.

So, double post, my favorite is the Lich King.
My reasons are:
I like Ice/Frost/Snow
Even if near the end he was kinda iffy, I really liked some of the things he did at the beginning. Every time he showed up I was prepared for epicness.
He was the most compelling backstory besides Kael's, and Kael was ruined by BC so I kinda threw him out.
Frostmourne and the armor.
I like the Blood/Frost/Unholy trio that he has at work, and the way he imbued it into the Death Knights.

We need more polls :)
Anyway, I picked Illidan Stormrage, despite the fact that I like all of those villains in their own special ways. My lame reasons?
He has an awesome backstory to him.
Outland is rather different than any other fictional place. I liked just the story surrounding him and his forces in Outland as well.
He's a demon hunter (well...sort of)
He just looks cool.

The Scarlet Crusade
They lost their homeland to an army of undead created, and when they rise up to fight these undead, demons corrupt and take them over.
They know the battle is lost, and their leaders are insane, but they still fight. In the name of the light, they fight.
Brave Scarlets, we salute you!

Lich King.
It just makes sense.

C'thun.
He(it?) just seems so different than the others excluding Yogg-Saron, and even then being the God of Chaos seems less generic than being the Death God.
Edit: In-game stuff does not necessarily qualify as lore.

Solely due to massive retcons about some others and wow.com's TFH about him, Yogg-Saron.

Hands Down,Yogg-Saron the thing that should not be...the one with a thousand faces!
As soon as i saw Cthun and Yogg-Saron there i stopped reading the others (ok i did read there names)
So i was split between Cthun and Yogg-Saron.Aldo i find Cthun a little more scarier then Yogg-Saron...i just find the God of Death more awsome and gruesome...and a wee bit cooler (My opinion).
And finally i just
LOVE
the Faceless Ones and who created them?Yogg-Saron.I especially like Vezax who is completly loyal to The Beast with a Thousand Maws.
And finally...all bow down to the
Ancient Ones!

YOU CAN MAKE POLLS?
This poll needs more Kil'jaeden / Archimonde / Gul'dan.
Not that'd I'd necesarrily vote for them, I just think they deserve a spot up there....and Sargeras.
However, out of the options there, I went for Kael'thas, simply because he was a racial leader who went to any means necessary to help his people. He's the most realistic villain out of the bunch, in my opinion.

I, naturally, chose the Lich King.
Despite his horribly bad finale - good Arthas, there must always be a Lich King, ect. - he was a very compelling villian. Starting out as a hero that only wanted to protect his people - during which time he still did some questionably-good deeds in order to do so - he was corrupted by Ner'zul and turned into the first of the Scourge's death knights.
He then not only decimated
one
nation with his army of the
living-freaking-dead
, not only two, but three. Three whole nations were utterly decimated to the point that drastic measure had to be taken by each to recover. In fact, he very well could have taken down four; but Gilneas acted more quickly, and damned themselves to a different curse than undeath.
Last, but not at all least, when the time came that he learned that he ahd been manipulated into damning himself and then destroying all that he had damned himself for he not only rejected the better part of his nature for power but slew and took the place of the one that had manipulated him. From there on the Frozen Throne he continued to be one of the greatest native threats to Azeroth untill he was finally defeated.
I understand that many of these points could easily be seen as "you just think he's a uber-cool villian, not a good lore one," but as they are all a part of lore so I think they fit with the poll. Not to say he isn't a uber-cool villian, though.
Oh, and since this is a poll thread and not a discussion one (if it hasn't already been stated) I say that we restrain ourselves from critisizing other people's choices.

Deathwing, hooves down.
I'm surprised so few have voted on him, but it's probably because so few of the new players actually know the whole background of him. I was almost screaming in excitement by the time the Cataclysm-trailer revealed Mr. Neltharion himself. Good stuff.
... or I might just be a hopelessly biased fanboy. :D
