I've yet to see anyone say 'Oh patch 4.1 is reusing things! Time to quit the game!'

Solution: don't do the recycled content.

lol, what are you talking about?
It's called continuity. You know, a story? Years have passed since Vanilla, of course Stranglethorn Vale will change! Of course NPC's will change (see Mankrik).
Think: if they didn't change Azeroth, they would have created a new continent for the 80-85 questing. That would mean more travelling, and more QQ by players.
It's taken Blizzard 3+ years working on Cataclysm, and you call them lazy?

Actually I have had about 15-20 friends quit after they announced the new ZA and ZG
Wow.....that's pretty sad......for them I mean, not Blizzard.
The solution is to keep the old content that everyone loves and not to be lazy and use it for a content patch.
So never put anything new into the game because it might possible mean you'll have to use old content....guess you shouldn't be playing Cata at all as they reused all of Vanilla content when they revamped the Old World. Oh, and don't do BWD! Onyxia and Nefarion are there again!
I call them lazy for the first content patch of Cataclysm being old raids turned into dungeons. And on top of it, it doesn't make any sense in the lore for them to be reborn again.
Do you know the new Lore of them? Have you done the new quests in STV that send you into the instanced version of ZG, where you find out what happened to the all of the old bosses that we destroyed during the time it was a raid? If you haven't....go do it, then reconsider your stance.

a. what's stopping you from not playing those dungeons in protest? It's not mandatory, you know.
b. have you considered the possibility, using your own words, that the
first
content patch would imply additional content patches in the future?

It's because the majority of the playerbase don't run Kara, or AQ, or BT very often.
This is a non-issue, and there is no mass exodus of customers due to it.

Screens or it didn't happen. Seriously, that's just pathetic. I'd be glad to have your friends gone.
Also, if Adams has said that it's lore viable, I'm going to agree with him. He knows more lore than any of us (even me O_o).

I'm fine with them bringing back characters that have to do with lore. Like Ragnaros and how Nefarian and Onyxia are Deathwings children. I'm tired of them pulling out old content so we can't do it anymore.
Um.................
You do realize that while ZG was removed when Cata showed up, ZA is still going to be a level 70 raid right? As these are new level 85
HEROIC
only version of the old raids, with new fights, and new items/mounts; you can still go to ZA and get Mojo, the achieve for beating it and all the rest.

According to all the posts I've read they are removing ZA as a raid.
Patch notes
:
The Return of Zul'Aman
Ever a player favorite, the level-70 ten-player dungeon of Zul'Aman is being reintroduced as a level-85 Heroic five-player dungeon. Zul'Aman will join Zul'Gurub in a new Dungeon Finder tier of Heroic dungeons, providing epic-quality item level 353 loot. The minimum average item level to enter this Heroic dungeon is also 346. While Zul'Aman will be more of a throwback to the original dungeon featuring many of the same encounters, players can expect to find some updated gameplay mechanics, as well as new environment textures and lighting.
With the Zuls returning, you may be wondering about the unique mounts that were once contained therein. New versions of the rare raptor, tiger, and bear mounts will be available, while the old versions of these mounts will remain unique to those who already have them. We'll reveal more about how these updated mounts can be obtained in the future.Where does it say that the level 70 raid is gone? And please, let's have a link to a Blue from the official forums saying that the raid is gone. Seriously, all the people running around complaining about this, when it's really easy to test: Load up the Test server, fly to ZA and see if the raid portal is still there. Man, so many doomsayers.
Edit: After all, we have Heroic versions of Deadmines and SFK yet the original instances are still there are they not, merely changed to meet the new storylines in the zones.

The question is: why couldn't they have created entirely new, original 5-mans? Why not 5-mans to go along with the rumored War of the Ancients and Firelands raids? I'd like to know the reasoning behind the decision before fully crying foul.
This is probably a step they're implementing so people can get gear before adding in the new raids, I would think.
Also, they're probably holding Firelands back a little bit longer, as Ragnaros is one of DW's top lieutenants.
