out of combat
I've always wanted to do that =D
Hate it when locks LT to 10%. I only use that for emergencies while in combat.
It's called drinks people!
. They cost money, but they don't make you lose your hp.
Drinks are usable in combat then? >:D

Back pedaling.
Quit trying to back pedal out of the sound discs on Atramades.
Quit trying to back pedal from from that DK that's raping your face.
Quit trying to position the boss by back pedaling for a year.
Ffs I feel like I'm the only one on my server who knows what it means to strafe sometimes.

Human instinct is to back away, not strafe.

My
recent
pet peeves both concerns tanks:
a) DK tanks: although I'm not overly familiar with your class, please don't insult me by not turning on
Blood Presence
. My
Lava Burst
always
crits (and I might fire it
several times in a row
, so I will appreciate it if I don't get the mob in my face because
you
can't hold aggro.
b) all tanks: if the healer says "mana", I will be staying by his side. Because if you're going to be a damn fool and charge without the healer, I'm not going to commit suicide with you.
Oh wait, here's one concerning DPS: please don't attack the mobs before the tank does; as a fellow DPS, you're making
me
look bad.

I like having agrro when I'm not supposed to. And I hate having it when I am. This is why I rolled a mage.

It gets annoying when half the group gets WTFPWNED by the Invocations of Flame in Heroic Grim Batol. It's funny the first time, not so much the third time.

Healers who refuse to heal my warlock because of my use of LT.
Healers who think healing regulars is "hard".
Any DPS who is doing below 3k at level 80 or higher. It's absolutely obnoxious, my hunter granted he's in some old ICC epics, auto-shots for 4.5k as BM. It's silly that people cannot even read abilities to get some idea of what they should be doing. I don't always read up on an alt I'm leveling, unless I'm struggling, but I don't make people carry me.
An actual parse from Recount on Kalthus in Blackrock Caverns:
Me (82 BM Hunter): 14K DPS, over 50% of the damage.
Warlock (82): 8K DPS
Protadin (82): 5K DPS
DK (83): 1.8K DPS.
Also, when on my shaman (not so much now she has gear) but when I'm well behind the group and have just sat down to drink, or right after spec'ing over from elemental. The tank pulling and insta-dieing and going "WTF HEALER WHY DIDNT YOU HEAL ME!" and then trying to kick me from the group. It's not pleasant at all.

- People that can't CC for life (What's sheep? lol)
- People that break CC, who is not the tank (a group of trash contains 2 healer mobs, one is still alive, the other gets broken by a DPS because he assumes the current healer mob is going to die. As a result, now the broken out healer mob heals the almost dead healer mob to close to 65%, because tank used the interrupt on the current healer mob target. Other people don't realize they need to interrupt and now we are dealing with 2 mobs healing each other along with other mobs that may be still alive. See how a simple pull can become complicated because someone decides he wants to be the tank all of a sudden.)
- People that pull and expect the tank to pull it off them (if you want to tank, you can have that mob to yourself, I refuse to take it off any DPS that decides to pull mobs unless they are told to CC pull)
- People that blow cooldowns before the tank even has a serious chance to build threat (I didn't even swing at the mob and you blow everything and expect me to hold it? How about let me position before you start, there are no monetary rewards here for getting top DPS chart.)
- People that don't know the difference between a Skull, X and an unmarked target (I would think a skull means kill first, an X means second and an unmarked means kill it after the skull and X. Apparently, some people do not understand that concept.)
- People that refuse to take constructive criticism to help them improve (Just because I'm a tank, does not mean its all I play and is my main class. If something someone says is not offensive in language and respectful to help you improve, why not take the advice instead of being defensive about it?)

Hum, what about warrior tanks that are not in defensive stance, or paladin tanks without rightious fury, or druid tanks outside bear form, it's all the same, why would you only refer dk's...
There's a reason why I put the word "recent" in italics.

The most fustrating thing I see happening alot now is
Tanks that drop group for no reason
. As a DPS we are in a que for 25 - 45+ minutes waiting for a group for random heroics. I understand if the group is a fail group and after a couple wipes leaving and finding a better group. But I have seen alot of this happening lately that Tanks will leave group after they get the rep the needed or the item they wanted didn't drop off the first boss and they leave with out a reason. There was no wipes and the group was a good group. Now we have to sit and wait for another tank. This can be another 10+ min.
I think Blizzard needs to penalize Tanks harder for leaving groups for no reason.
If we have to wait close to an hour to find a group they should also. This way Tanks will not join unless they plan on finishing. I see this more of a problem with the tanks than the DPS or healers, if a DPS or healer leaves group usually the reque doesn't take nearly as long to get the group going again. If you are joining a random have consideration for the other 4 players in the group.
Simple solution to the long DPS queues.
Get more tanks and healers.
Want to do that without having to tank or heal yourself, then here's how:
Stop treating tanks and healers like crap AND do what you can to make other DPS stop it too every time you can.
Simple.
