Anyway, I win the blasted thing, some chest piece and the Tank bounces whining that he lost gear to an "off-spec". So, I put on my new gear and we four-manned the rest. What ticks me off is that people don't understand that this is supposed to be fun.
Though the point of the game
is
indeed, to have fun, you're impeding someone else's ability to have fun if you roll "Need" on something that someone of that spec legitimately needs. I'd always thought that common courtesy called for OS rolls to question if anybody needed it for their main spec.
Sadly, I'm starting to see that this isn't true anymore.
Run in the spec you want gear for.
Especially
when that spec is tanking/healing.

In a random dungeon, i'm calling that BS. In a raid or maybe heroic you might have a point. Random dungeons are for badge, rep, and xp farming. You will run randoms so many times that eventually everyone will have everything that can drop.
When I'm leveling, I always queue for both specs - and if gear that fits either spec drops and its an appropriate upgrade, then i will roll. I don't have an "off spec" or "main spec" when i level... When I raid, sure i might steer towards one direction, but it's too early to make those kind of calls when leveling - especially since you're going to replace it soon enough anyway.

Currently two things.
Shado-Pan Monastery: because it's one looooong dungeon with wipes waiting to happen, and that's posible on both trash and bosses.
Orb Duty in Shado-Pan Monastery. As a hunter, I normally get this. Kill the orbs. Yes I know someone needs to kill the orbs, but when you complain about my DPS afterwards ... Well, there's not enough orbs, and I don't get to stand still enough. Either you get dead orbs, or you get high deeps. You no can haz both.

:) Don't worry, that will be fixed next patch. You get to cast steady shot/cobra shot while on the move regardless of what aspect you're in.
What ticks me off the most is when I get groups where they end up squabbling over pixels and somehow drag me into it. Fine, you want to fight over your loot, just don't freaking take
my
gear to "prove a point" to someone else.
Had a rogue do that to my pally today when the druid healer took a leather dps belt from him. He then promptly needed on a str cloak off the next boss. Hypocrite.

Mages. They're always so rushy and will pull if you're taking a couple seconds too long.

It's not that ... It's the part where they always yell at me if I even put a BA on the boss to get LnLprocs ... I normally go surv on orbs because of the burst damage... I have gotten so much crap for DPSing the boss when there are no orbs up so that I simply stand and look pretty when the orbs aren't up. Meaning my DPS goes below the surface of the earth.

What bothers me nowadays in randoms is Monks, I don't hate the class, this evening i took a lot of pleasure in clearing 21 levels in 3 hours. But what bothers me is monks who are dps spam rolling, pulling bosses and packs and causing me undue stress.
LOS pull in scarlet monastery, barrel, barrel, walk backwards, only for the dps monk to steamroll into them, start spamming attacks and pulling 2 or 3 other packs.
Also the fact randoms are incredibley random, at lv 32 being tossed into gnomergan for to get 40 exp a mobs not particularly fun.

Then you've had a lot of bad luck.
Not once have i seen anyone being put on "orb duty" (it's usually just whoever happens to kill it).
And never have i had QQ about being on the boss.
Well, all groups I've been in but a premade with tank/heals and me have had trouble downing the boss because everyone focuses on the boss and we all die from the orbs and stuff ... So they pick a ranged to kill the orbs so everyone else can DPS the boss without dying in bad. I'm normally that ranged, and then they QQ for me not doing my job if they see me firing at the boss, orbs up or not ...

Players who are in a hurry and keeps pulling instead of the tank.
DPSers who cry out "pull larger groups", just cause it works in the lower levels doesnt mean its a good idea.

That is where a GOOD tank is nice to have. I see them pull small the first few and then start larger once they see how the group works.
When playing my heals I like seeing this as I know that I and the tank can work together. When on DPS it is nice to see them pay attention to what the group can do.
Conversely, ANYONE who complains about size of pull or time to down the trash/boss just irritate me.

I've been running a lot of dungeons lately on lowbies for cheap/easy levelling.
I've seen more healers and monks have the mindset of "go go pew pew" than I have explicitly mages.
In fact, last night on the run in HoL where my (fury dps) warrior dinged 80, it went something like this:
Monk tank pulls 2, we start DPS
Before the mobs even get to 50% health, he pulls 4 from the left upwards ramp
Before he brings them down to the original group, he bypasses us entirely and heads down to the lower right corner (the one the boss walks to) and pulls them
Thankfully by now we've killed the first 6 for the next 6 to be brought to us
They're not at 50% health yet before he runs off again to the long low corner.
We kill the second group, and now he's soloing 6-8 in the corner when the boss makes his way down the ramp, and proceeds to splatter the monk.
The mage splattered instantly because he dropped Blizzard before any sort of control was had.
I switch to Defensive, get aggro on the boss, pop all my cooldowns except Bladestorm, wedge myself into the corner, and just go to town with Bladestorm and Cleave.
The shaman healer managed to keep me up, we won, and the tank stopped acting like a dumbass after that.
One of my own peeves is when slackstastic DPS keep requesting Recount posts.
I particularly enjoyed my first shaman's first run through the Temple of the Jade Serpent. As Elemental, I would wait a half second before unloading on mobs.
The group's Arms warrior kept begging for a Recount. According to mine, I was posting 20-22k dps - he was posting less than 12k. He kept on going on about that until finally the healer posted his (which reflected similar numbers) and said "okay now shut up".
For people who are so reliant on Recount for their performance, why not install it yourself? *sigh*

People who run ahead when you are trying to pick up/hand in a quest, trying to heal them, or fighting.
People who kick you for having better gear than them, dont like gnomes, dont like priests, dont like your face, etc.
People who go to the bathroom for 30 minutes on a timed run just after you start.
People who use recount to show off their high dps as if its the only thing that counts.
People who spend the whole time arguing, may as well solo.
Oh and the ones who are always AFK, and the groups that disband every 5 seconds ( first boss new group, 2nd boss new group......)

BoA gear. It's my number one pet peeve in dungeons, because it goes with the second thing I hate. There's been scant few DPS with BoA gear that haven't pulled before the tank in a dungeon. They believe since they have better gear they're better than anyone else in the group. BoAs, in my opinion, make people crappier at their class role.
Anybody who isn't the tank that decides to pull mobs or even a boss without waiting for the tank. It's the number one way to die, for the most part, since you have a healer that won't heal you, and a tank that isn't going to help you until the healer gives him the okay.
I dislike people who never freaking interrupt casting. Especially if it's a healer that's constantly healing itself or its fellow mobs. There doesn't always have to be a DBM message yelling "INTERRUPT THIS" for people to use their interrupts.
When someone CCs something right before the tank pulls and doesn't mark it. If they're grouped together, and the tank is going to charge in and thunderclap, mark the bloody mob so the tank can pull them away! Plus the other DPS will attack the mob because nobody knows what an assist is these days.
Moonkins and their typhoon. I mainly hated this spell beyond belief as a tank, and was almost willing to kick every single stupid moonkin that used it when the mobs weren't even on or near them.

and probably get another dungeon instantly
They'll be stuck with the 30 minute deserter debuff, so i assume they go questing or pvping for that time. unless there's some exploit i'm not aware of.
