The 20s CD to WoG makes it very strange to use as Prot. Right now, I tend to use SotR if SD procs, and WoG otherwise. I'll use WoG more if the healers really need the help.

that. Where are the Tankadins who are complaining about not attacking constantly? I certainly haven't seen 'em. There's no
need
to attack constantly since aggro isn't a problem. I truly enjoyed being able to use WoG to help out the healers in a pinch; it actually made me feel like a hybrid tank.
Perhaps it would be different if they added in another attack that was charged using HP, but as is, that leaves Tankadins one use for HP - and that makes the mechanic pretty pointless for us, and removes any real choices from our tanking.

March 3rd change is up, and the holy T11 4P changes is also up.
I like the protection change, but it makes me even more sad about the WoG change because i instantly think "oohh more holy power to toss into a WoG.....oh wait...." -_-

Does AS have to actually hit to generate HP?
Its a good question, but I think we are just going to have to wait and see. Honestly tho, its a 50/50 with their coding these days, it use to be that using an ability that generated holy power would give it regardless of hit. That means there original coding was just based on ability usage. Will they uses the same coding as current abilities, or will they just want the proc to be used no mater what =/
I'm really going to like this change, its going to make the rotation a bit more exciting. The potential for 3 holy power in 4.5 Seconds means that I will be trying to keep inquisition up 100% of the time, and using SotR after I get those procs.

Second, I'm a bit confuse by this change with Blizz making WoG a cooldown for non-holy paladins. It's not like we have threat issues right now. If I had to guess, they must have felt that the holy paladin model of having multiple ways to gain HP felt good and wanted prot to have a little RNG chance to get extra since it's static ATM.

When was the last time a new major content patch came out and the item level was the same?
Time to necro an old point, but it looks like we're stuck with T11 for another couple months.
Meaning, Holy 4P will be viable for a while.

If you read the blue post, they list some BS about how they were getting QQ from tanks feeling like they needed to use all their Holy power for healing and not for attacks. So they wanted to help us out by forcing us to play using more attacks.
Honestly, I really want to know where they get their feed back -_-

Off-topic: Some of you need to update your sig links. I tried to check a few specs and they were all broken links.
On-Topic: I'm a bit sad regarding the change to WoG for ret. It was a low heal to start with but really one of the few ways I was able to keep myself going. Being able to string two WoGs together from lucky DP procs usually helped keep me fighting for a while if there were no healers around. One WoG, even fully charged, isn't going to get a ret paladin very far.

General
All non-damaging interrupts off the global cooldown will now always hit the target. This includes
Rebuke
Updated for above.
Looks like tanks aren't going to need to focus on hit, and healers might be expected to interrupt on crucial fights.
What % hit to other tanks out there like to be at? I fight my golden number is 3-4%

My number is zero. Even before the change to rebuke, I found no reason to have hit.
I like to have some hit, It really sucks when you Avengers shield misses. It also helps when pulling bosses in raids. Its getting to the point where is hard to keep threat for the first 45 seconds on the fury warrior in my guild.

I got home a while ago and checked you out. Damn! Nah, I can't change. I run the Honor guild on this side, bunch of friends server transferred with me to Dalaran back around September. I've been wanting to roll a 2nd paladin for giggles since I reserve Kirsis for guild runs. Maybe I'll roll one on the horde side, have some good times.
