Just wondering which path everyone thinks is the funnest and/or quickest. Personally I prefer questing. I love immersing myself in the lore and I enjoy stacking quests but dungeons are just bleh, while most have been improved they are still quite tedious. Just to clarify - this is from level 1-85.

Most fun depends heavily on your playstyle. Quickest would be questing while waiting on dungeon queues during the week and BG queues during to BG holidays.

Depends on what you like.
For my 'newest' toon, the one I re-rolled at the start of Cata, I made a Worgen Druid(Worgen cat form is da sex), and was level 14 by the time I left Gilneas, quested in Darkshore till I got the achieve, then went from level 20-70 by Archeology and Dungeon grinding. From 70-80 did more Arch, more dungeon crawling, and the zone quests in Northrend to get the dungeon quests for them. 80-85 was zone leveling and dungeoning again, and hit 85 shortly after starting up Deepholme.
So, yeah, to reiterate: Depends on what you like.
Of course, now that I have all but the Pebble, My Own Broodmother and Bounce achieve for 80-85, it's back to Northrend to finish off the Loremasters and more Arch, then off to Outland for the same, and finally the Loremaster of Azeroth after that point heh.

I tend to do them all, in moderation... though I will admit that I haven't really enjoyed PvPing for prolonged periods since I got Blood Guard on my Shaman (kinda got burned out on it way back).
I usually do all the quests in a zone, and queue for dungeons when I start to get bored of fetching 32 bear testes.

For myself, I perfer to quest over anything. I am one of those altholics. What I do from 1-60 is pick a zone, do all of it's quests, i.e get that achievement for the zone. I usually go to outlands at lvl 60 and finish hellfire at around lvl 63/64 with ramparts/Blood Furnance then I move onto Zangarmarsh. I know my friends tell me that I should go to the better zones to get better xp. You know what? I like my odd leveling plan, it works.

If it's a new race or class, do the questing if your interested in the story, if not, queue dungeons or BGs whichever one you prefer.

Northrend and Outland bring nothing new to the landscape so I would BG/dungeon through those levels as much as I could. Azeroth on the other hand is worth seeing so leveling would bring a nicer experience.
One thing I am doing leveling my toon through 1-58 is to look up the chain quest that give blue gear at the end. Having a little caveat to go along with your questing makes it a bit more rewarding.

If you haven't done the quests before, questing.
If you try to do all 3, you'll either have to lock xp for a while or skip large amounts of quests / do grey quests.

I just made a Darenei Priest the other day, I plan on leveling him with a little bit of everything. Having never played a Priest before I felt it was the best way to go so I can get a good feel on how they are in pve and pvp, originally I was going to make a toon that could solo old content but I have a few of those and felt leveling a clothie would be better, plus I never pvped as a clothie so wanted to see how it worked out
