I'm sorry you are incapable of realizing that you're playing their game, and they can do whatever the hell they want to it, with or without compensation.
Also, the enchant off-hand balancing was announced on
Jan 12

It's funny how attitudes from society carry over to something as minuscule as a game. In the real world you have people who demand they are entitled to free food, a discount, the perfect seat in the theater, etc. simply because they deem some sort of minor situation as such a hardship. At the time you thought the enchant was of some value that you needed it at that exact moment, you could have just waited to get it for free from a friend or (gasp) not bother with it unless you intend to do harder content. If your reason for getting said enchant was the latter, why does Blizzard need to give you gold back since you can just earn it back so quickly by raiding or doing randoms?
Same applies to early adopters of the latest gizmo, then the price gets dropped. Or a new functionality gets added to a new version. Or both.

I had gads of fun.
Yeah. I feel kinda glad I didn't join in on this, actually.

But I look at the idea we other than the OP were in agreement, gave reasonable ideas and there was no change in the base idea from the OPs "It's not fair!"

You must be new to mmos since this happens on a regular basis. Its in the nature of this game to change from balancing issues. You may have had a somewhat better argument if you used an example other then a minuscule change to the off hand enchant and you felt compelled to actually change your spec to compensate for it.
Also yes in a perfect world a perfectly balanced game should be released but since there ways of finding out this kinda of stuff is flawed since not everyone participates in the ptr or the beta releasing a balanced game is next to impossible and changes like this are made due to that.
No compensation should be given because you agreed to changes like this in the TOS.
Yes i do know the op will most likely not read this but i thought i would post it anyway.

When I see "Customer Service", I expected the thread to be about horror stories when dealing with... you know, WoW Customer Service.
As for OP's concern... lulwhat? With his logic, if Blizzard buffs an enchant (e.g., the enchantment gives +120 Int), will OP pay Blizzard extra for their work?
