IB4 Many Heroic Halfus Kills

So, anyone else do heroic Halfus yesterday?
We went in to our 25 man yesterday and started with Halfus as usual. After a couple wipes because our raid leader freaked out about the changes and overreacted, we downed it quite easily. The first half of the fight is roughly the same difficulty, maybe slightly easier, and the second half of the fight is WAY easier.
The hard part of the fight used to be managing offtanking drakes during furious roars. Now that you actually kill all the drakes that you activate, phase two damage is virtually non-existent.
In addition, you don't even need to activate Slate dragon anymore; you don't need the damage buff and you don't need the stun effect because Halfus damage is minimal anyway.
We used four tanks; I took Time Warden and Whelps, Paladin tank took Storm Rider, and the druid and other warrior tank were swapping Halfus MS debuffs and tossing Nether Scion back and forth. Passive AoE on whelps, we killed Time Warden (and I grabbed Nether off the Halfus tanks), then Storm Rider, then Nether Scion, at which point there were only a couple whelps with a couple percent left on them. Finished off whelps and all switched to the boss. The damage taken increase on Halfus is 100% per drake now (from what they said in Vent anyway, I did not verify myself), so 400% increased damage taken. By the time we killed the three drakes and whelps the boss was at around 75% and we had somewhere between 1.5 and 2 minutes left on the enrage timer. Killed the boss with about 20 seconds before enrage and I don't think any of us died.
So, if you are 12/12 and/or have cleared Bastion, I suggest you give Halfus a try if you haven't already. The tweaks to this encounter have made it quite a bit easier, IMHO.

Would you say heroic halfus is easier or harder than Nef normal? Because we've had one to two night learning curves on
every
fight so far (including, probably cho'gall. 15% in four pulls on the first night, I'll be surprised if he's not dead on Monday), but Nef was pretty brutal when we attempted him.

The key being 25 man.
10 man is still a cluster shag beyond belief from what I can tell - and not helped by the fact that it is no longer viable to bring 2 disc priests for smite spam.

A lot easier then before, or atleast that was our conclusion this evening. Worked with standard 2T-3H-5D setup. No dedicated interruptor required -- tanks handled it, disc smite spamming priests no more or any other weird speccing toons required.
Half HC is somewhat harder then normal nef. They both have very annoying phases. On Halfus it's a lot of stuff going on in the start and then it becomes easier and easier, so if you die you die early while on Nef if you die you most likely die in P2 or P3 and have to do the annoying P1 (and possibly P2) again.

lol @ tanking drakes during furious roar. Why in the world would you have any drakes left when halfus gets to 50%?

Also, not really. 10m is pretty simple, really the only thing holding people back was not having a mage to interrupt Shadow Nova after a Furious Roar. However, now that you can use
Living Action Potions
at 85 all you need to do is create an interrupt rotation.

Because before 4.0.6 it was impossible to kill all four or five drakes and still down Halfus before the enrage, that's why.

If you're talking about 25m then you could be right.
But in 10m I've killed him twice with downing four drakes (slate was never touched) before he got to 50%, AND beating the enrage timer.
