I'm going to say Wowhead because I seriously bust my butt every day to insure that on-site data is accurate (even if it means checking in-game for myself) and our team is constantly fixing bugs and incomplete data entries that may have snuck their way in. I've done some pretty random in-game research, ranging from checking Zul'gurub quests on my 70 blood elf paladin to transcribing the 'Dark Keeper Nameplate' at the bottom of Blackrock Depths. God is in the detail!
I want to point out that most of the discrepancies or seemingly incomplete data you may find on this site is often the result of the way the game or data-gathering client treats the respective data and sometimes requires manually editing / entry to correct. Also, we make a lot of changes to make the site easier to use (such as some quest categorization ie. 'Sethekk Halls' instead of 'Auchindoun'). Most database sites share similar errors, excellent database sites correct them. ;)
Data errors are
generally
easy to fix (when not part of a bigger issue, such as one we do not currently have a way to support correcting) and in any case, if you do find any suspected or obviously erroneous data regarding quests, items, or whatever else on the site, just drop an e-mail to feedback@wowhead.com (it's checked daily!) and it will be documented for fixing!

Also, the comments on Wowhead are, without doubt, the best of any site.
Try using Lightheaded some time, and your opinion won't be quite so high. I agree that wowhead has the best forums and good all-around data, but there needs to be some editorial contol on what people put in quest comments...The coordinates for some of the things I've been looking for lately have been way off; seems like someone just picked two random numbers out of their backside and threw them in.
Every time someone posts on here about eliminating the "I soloed it" comments, I find myself nodding, because every time someone claims they soloed it, it encourages as least three other posters to also claim the same thing, thus enhancing themselves without the use of pills. Having to sift through several of these posts to find the coordinates for something can be frustrating.
So, since it's not reasonable to criticize something without offering a solution, here's what I would propose:
-Basic information in the first post. Coordinates, mob information, so forth; all useful info. "Drops a sweet weapon for rogues" is not. We know what the quest rewards are when we accept it, so if the rogue who completes it picks the cloth healing bracers instead, that's their own problem.
-"I soloed it" gone. I know, this has already been beaten to death. But, even if there is a detailed description of how you did it, it still doesn't help, because I'm not an arcane fire-mage or a druid who can shift from cat to bear to dire bear to dancing bear and back again. Unless the person reading has your class, spec, and exactly the same distribution of their talent points, chances are, your tale of uber-leetness is just taking up space.
-Adding info should be done on a limited basis. Yes, it's nice to know that Morbong the Colon Shredder respawns in his cave every 2:47 exactly. If there's a particular approach to Morbong that no one else has mentioned in the comments yet, then that would be helpful too ("approach from the west, there are fewer mobs" is good.
"I stelthed past them w/ my uber-l33t rouge"
is not).
-Knowing what quests can be completed at the same time is great. Not knowing if the poster is speaking of an Alliance-only or Horde-only quest is not.
Remember, every time you post on the quest comments in WoW, your words are being used as a field-tool by those of us who don't have the RAM to continually alt-tab. Please post responsibly.
If you actually read this longwinded diatribe, I commend you, but you still won't get a cookie.

Regarding quest i already dropped using any of the major sites, not because they aren't helpful or accurate, but simple because Quest Helper does the same job, without tapping out of the game.
I use wowhead for pretty much everything else regarding WoW, except lore... There wowwiki is the best by far..

I.E. The huge quest chain for
Medal of Courage
Horde-side.
Also, one problem with that quest is that there is currently no way to record when a quest chain to branches off into two separate quests then comes back together to single quest (such as quest -> quest -> quest + quest -> quest -> quest).

I use wowhead mainly because of the convenient layout. I'm still quite new to WoW, and when I first wanted to look something up I only knew about Thottbot. Damn, I spent a good hour trying to make up what I needed to collect for that quest when I just gave up. In a desperate attempt I asked in Barrens chat, and someone directed me to wowhead. A new world opened up! A noob-proof website, with a straight this-that-done layout.
Ofcourse the maturity of the community is an important aspect as well. :-)
